NOt much frugal here today getting dh ready to start staying away to work 4 days a week and i hate when he has to do that but me an dd will be fine I will save on grocerys through the week so that will be frugal. My uncle gave me some big garlic bulbs out of his garden and i dont use garlic to often can someone tell me how to store it so it willllll stay fresh for along time?
Well, I went to the Grocery Warehouse for their 10 for $10 sale. I got $20 worth of stuff from that sale for me and dd and $10 for my sister. I got the bulk items and a few other things I can't get at Save-a-Lot. I just need to grab a few items there a little later. I've got alot of things to cook and bag up, though I barely have any room for anything. Gotta make room, I guess.
Spent the day packing. Tomarrow I go pay the rent on the new house. And help my SIL finish moving out of her old house. So I have all the rest of this month to move out of the house we are in now. But I will start moving in small stuff tomarrow. I can't wait for it to all be over with. Have a good night .

After coming back from Save=A=Lot, I immediately went into the kitchen and started cooking.
First I opened the bulk cans of Sliced Apples and Pineapples I got. I put sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg in the apples and sugar in the pineapples and bagged them as a weeks worth in each bag. I then froze them. Then I made several variations of cup meals: chili and cheese, chicken pot pie, ham and cheese, and Pepperoni and cheese. I made hot dog wraps, taquitos, and warmed up store bought chicken nuggets and garlic breadsticks. I then bagged them all up for dd's lunches. Then I washed the dishes, and mopped.
My frugalness in an extravagant way was to take our family of 4 to Sea World for the day, that days entry automatically gave us a free yearly pass............ winter must have been slow. So we can just go and use the water park section this summer and it costs us nothing but petrol money .............. yippee
Hi Kathy!!! Gosh it seem slike forever since I've seen you around. I guess we just keep missing each other.
Good job on frugalness today! I'm getting to be so frugal around here that my family is starting to look at me funny. I've started saving freezer bags to re-use and even save veggie "juice" for my compost soups. I think my family thinks I've lost it. I've always been kind of wasteful in the kitchen. This frugal stuff is actually fun though!
Have a great evening all--day to you Kathy.
