I haven't done anything frugal in over a week!

All I have been doing lately is sleeping, watching the "idiot box", and playing on the computer.

My dh caught me trying to sweep a little this am, I thought he was going to tie me to the couch! He said, "NO HOUSEWORK FOR YOU, YOUNG LADY!!!" I am very bored. I don't sew, knit, crochet, or do any kind of craft, and I've read all the books in the house several times. Any suggestions on fighting boredom???

I found this interesting idea from an email, and I wanted to get everyones opionon. I haven't tried it yet, but they were talking about what to do with cereal, cracker boxes, etc. This one lady said she took a square from the box, big enough to cover a dinner plate, then she covered it with the platic the cereal was in, she taped it down good, then she uses it to cover food in the microwave. She said she just wiped it with a soapy dishrag and then rinsed it with another one. Some of the women said this was discusting because they didn't think you coul clean it real good. So what do you all think?

Carol,
I have been using the plastic in the cereal boxes to cover food in the microwave for a long time now. Still kicking!

Carol & Lee,

Won't the cereal plastic bag absorb foods like tomato sauce, etc?

Carol-

Never thought to try that but sounds like it would work out just fine.

Nagymom-
Thanks for the link.
