Lost my post again. I think somehow I am hitting something on my computer and everything goes away. I am just not sure what I am hitting. So anyway I spent a lot of money for medicines(over 40.00) and bought 17 timbers and rebar to nail them down with. Got a letter from yds college and I have to send them 150.00 for room application fee. I swear I am already spending a lot of money and he is still in high school. Frugal was washing two of the three loads of clothes in cold water and making homemade pancakes along with eggs and sausage for supper. I put some of my clothes on the dryer rack on the porch but it was so windy the clothes kept coming off on the porch. I finally gave up when the wind blew the entire rack over and moved it back inside.
JoAnne, I am so glad you finally know what is going on with Missi and I hope you will soon see her doing better.
I am waiting for the police to come take a nuisance report of vandalism. I heard something last night when I was in the kitchen, but couldn't tell where it came from. I went to the front door, but didn't see anything.
Here someone threw an egg at one of my windows. Didn't see it until I opened the curtains this morning. It is cleaned up.
Police were just here, took a report. Said there have been no other reports of eggs from last night, yet!
What a waste of an egg - thank goodness it was not rotten!!
Jean, breakfast for dinner sounds like something I need to do again soon. I have been thinking that I need to use that waffle maker, or get rid of it.
JoAnne, glad that you got a definitive diagnosis on Missy. Now you can get her on the right track to good health.
Cau, I hope you start to feel better soon with the new medicine. They were saying on the news last night that because we have had such a mild winter, the pollen is earlier this year, and much worse already.
Cheryl, I received 2 envies from you yesterday. Thank you for sharing. It seems that you are getting spring fever already. It was ok here yesterday, but 50* already this morning, and expected to get near 70*.
I have only 1/2 day at work, and then the tax lady at 4, so I will get to get out a little. Probably re-clean that outside window, and the others too while I am at it. This morning, I was wanted to get the egg off, so it wouldn't "bake" on.
Norma sorry to hear about your house. We have had that happen to us before. Kids have nothing better to do then egg peoples houses or hit mail boxes with baseball bats. They should have to clean up the mess they make and maybe they would think twice about doing it again.
Well they say it is going to hit 70 degrees here today. I hope so. I am going out to lunch with a girl from work. Taco's at home for dinner tonight.
Time to head to work. You girls keep up the great frugal work you do.
Sorry to hear about the egg vandalism... I had that happen once when we first moved here mine was unfortunately worse, they did it the night after Halloween, egged my car. I had the flu and got up to go to work and discovered the stuff froze to my car.
We are having rain today 100% chance, it wasn't supposed to start till noon but it's already started at 7:54am. I need to go to Aldi's for a loaf of bread and their generic slimfast.. I wish they opened earlier than 9am that is just so inconvenient. We had ferocious high winds all night and into this morning.
We watched the library DVD last night "Kung Fu Panda Bear" it was really cute, now we'll for sure be getting the second one.
I should check and see if they have Dolphin Tails as I put that in our Netflix Wish List. Free is better.
My sister and her dh came over yesterday and dropped off the Girl Scout Cookies and I delivered the ones my older neighbor and her dh ordered. She was telling me those annoying people they send out trying to get you to change your electric or gas over to them were at her house the other night. They ask them to leave, they wouldn't so she pulled a gun on them. They called the police and they quietly laughed when they came to take the report. One guy came here that evening, Cocoa showed him her pretty teeth and I told him firmly before he could even say what he was here for "We're Not Interested" and said it again. It takes the wind right out of their sails, they are like "but you don't know what it is" which I reply "Not interested, not even if it's free". We have a No Solicitation sign on the door but they don't even pay attention to it. My feelings are if I'm interested in something, I research it online or by phone to their business and talk with friends/family/neighbors and make my decision, I would never buy anything door to door or over the phone or even on the internet sent to me.
Well off my soap box on that subject, LOL!
Today's frugal will be spending less than $10 and working on laundry. I got all the Bunny Rabbits priced and ready to go, cut up one slab of Pine Tar soap that I made 6 weeks ago, have 2 more slabs to do.
Tonights dinner will be spaghetti and a salad.

I agree Anna! My time is important to me and if I want to buy something I won't wait until someone knocks at my door.
Frugal is we have some money turned in to the unclaimed property site. I did the paperwork and the checks will be mailed out within three to four weeks. I don't know how much it is but money is money.
Stuies ear give him fits too.
I have been sad this week so yesterday I went into the workshop and starting building. I am using homemade wood stain made from vinegar. I will post a picture when it is done.
Yesterday was a no spend day!

Yay on the No Spend Day.. wish we had more of those days.
Still raining here, just got back from Aldi's and Lowes. Bought my buckets at Lowes for the wax. I saw they now have Food Grade Buckets there and of course, they were sold out. They have these in the paint section so if any of you are looking for them don't order online if you have a Lowes Hardware Store close by. The ones they sell are 5 gallon and are around $3.67 I think? I also bought a packet of the Mamouth Sunflowers we plant every year and a pack of Organic Bell Pepper seeds, gonna try growing those in the front yard this time and see if it does any better.

I just realized that Sugar Alcohols are like Sorbitol, which I am sensitive to. Dang it!!! I just ate 2 of those bars, sure hope I don't have a reaction to it. But if you can tolerate them, this is definitely a good candy bar alternative. They are good and fairly decent sized bars.

Anna, thank you so much for explaining these prepper things, I really had the wrong idea, and you have set me straight. I now see how wise it is to have stock piles, in the case of disaster. You do a good job on here, helping everyone with their questions and having us almost a part of your life. I can feel it in your words that you are a good person. Your poor pup does have a time with ear problems, doesn't Windi too? Your middle furbaby doesn't seem to have as much trouble.
Norma, how rotten of vandals to hit your home with eggs. You wonder what they use that thing inside of their heads for!! It also makes you feel vulnerable, when you should only feel safe in your house.
Had my blood tests done this morning for this month. Hoping the counts are still up.
Dh is really, really concerned about the costs for the vet. He wonders if we can really afford it, which we will of course, but he is worried nevertheless. It is difficult to look at her and think of not helping her, but it is going to be a hardship. We go to the vet at 4:30 to learn how to give her injections. I looked up the cost of syringes on the internet for humans, and they are about $30.00 for a pack of 100. Couldn't find out how much insulin costs.
