Good morning, brr its a cold one here. In the low 40's this morning.

Chris, nice to see a post from you. I know you have to stay busy with working two jobs now.

Connie, congrats on the store. You are very creative with making things and I hope your store is successful and that you enjoy working in it. I am glad your cousin's baby is healthy. I found out yesterday about a little 4 month old that was having her third surgery yesterday. I feel bad for anyone who is sick but especially sad for babies and children.

Anna, sounds like you are a very good cook. David sounds like my dh in that he loves to eat the food I cook.

Nikki, I will be praying for you.

Frugal today is staying home and eating what we have. I will mostly just fix lo for supper. Last night I made a loaf of banana bread from 3 very ripe bananas. I used free sausage for part of breakfast. Well everyone have a great day and stay warm.

Connie, I wish you best of luck and success with your store!

Kathy, wouldn't just working 10 to 2 be heavenly...if they paid what you'd get in 8 hours? LOL! How are you feeling on the antibiotics?

Jean, I froze the remaining bananas I had, will make more banana bread this weekend. I love the way the house smells when it's baking.

Chris, congrats on the gas card win! Yes, $10 is $10 you didn't have before!

My frugals are the same old things. Haven't hit on anything new lately. Just plugging along.

I need to get moving, have a ton of work getting ready to be dumped on me, have to make sure all my other stuff is out of the way...sigh.

Hugs to you all!

Lisa

Frugal for me?Well I am doing the best that I can.Had to get some money out for the homecoming dinner ect.It all adds up.
Last night my unfrugal was getting busted for speeding.I was able to talk my way down to only going 5 miles over the speed limit. The town had gone to the city council to complain about the speeders so that was why I got the ticket. It is one more thing that we really don;t have the money for but we will somehow be ok.
Oh and I am working my way around so my youngest can make her first reconalituon and communcion this year.No luck in finding the key.
Today we have alot of rain.I need to make up my list and find some ways to save money.I did treat myself to lunch at hardes and used up some change and got my eyebrows done. The price of haircuts have gone up and now is almost 15.00 to have that done.

Good morning, everyone!
Connie, how exciting! That sounds like it will be so much fun!
Mish, I'm so sorry about the ticket. It seems like he could have just given you a warning for that.
Lisa, thinking and praying for your ds today.
Chris, way to go on the gas card!
Pam, love those Cowboys!
Anna, your candles sound fantastic! And I think the plans you have for Christmas will make very nice gifts.
Norma, hey, I did finally get that roast cooked. lol How are your meals going so far?
Welcome back Patrice!
Kathy, your lunch sounds like it was nice. Those are great hours-maybe you could talk them into being permanent?
Today, I have been going through my warmer clothes and washing them so they are fresh. I have been busy with a lot of canning as well. I have beef stew in the crock pot for dinner and just need to make some bread to go with it. Speaking of which, I should probably get going.
Take care my friends, and have a terrific Thursday!
Jamie.

Connie, that is great news regarding your store. You will do great, you have the perfect personality for this kind of business.
Kathy, when I was a working gal, I worked from 9 to 2, four days a week in my bil dental office as a bookkeeper/receptionist. It was absolutely perfect! Oh, and I was paid very well too.
Thought I was getting better, and out popped a humungous hemorhhoid. Geez!! so painful. Has anyone any home remedies to help with this? I am using Prep H, without much luck. It seems my undercarriage is just all out of kilter, since the bowel surgery. So sorry, for complaining, I try not to.
dd and dgd visited last night with Mocha. She is so adorable, and really bossy, she chases my Bostons around and around the coffee table, they don't know what to make of this furry little ball, LOL LOL
I have been told of this website and it is very informative it is stilltasty.com and it gives you expiration dates for everything you can imagine. You might want to check it out, if you haven't already done so.
Enjoy this wonderful day, we have been given
JoAnne
