Jean - Bless your heart. So sorry for all the problems. After your healing - you should be better than new. Take care and you are in my prayers.

Frugal today - did go to some yard sales. Spent 3.50. other than that - stayed home and no more spending. Have been planting flowers that I bought earlier this week. Have almost all planted - looks like I need a few more.
Made soup in crockpot. I used some of the meat loaf, broke up, as the meat in it. I think there is a little bit of everything in there!
Beautiful today. 70's and partly sunny. Was supposed to rain thru Tues. Now they say no more rain till Wed. YIPPEE.
The grass needs to be cut again!! Just did it Wed. evening - all that rain sure has made it grow. May do that later after dinner.

Take care and have a great evening.
ENJOY DERBY DAY!

Frugal for me ?Using up the gas in my car to go garage saling with a g/f of mine.Only spent 10 for a stuffed animal then got some snacks at Wendys.I do have some potroast that is cooking up for dinner. My youngest is outside learning how to ride her bike and I am leaving in a bit to get my middle and watch her play at her concert. It should be more fun here.
I am doing ok.Just trying to be true to myself and to keep doing my soul searching.

WOW - WHAT A GREAT DERBY RIDE!!!!

Well, I did go out and cut the grass again! As have a lot of the neighbors. Sure smells good outside. I love the smell of fresh mowed grass.
Made another gal. of sweet tea. Can't seem to keep it around long.

Have a great one.

Cheryl my family loves sweet tea.

Didn't do much frugal things here today. Went to Walmart, grocery shopping, and nursery. Spent some money today!

We did get 3 Azala bushes for $44. Dh will plant them this week.

I ran the dishwash with no heat dry. We at all our meals at home today. Dh and I took all the recycables to the center today. We will hang out and watch the race tonight.

Good for you for calling Kashi. Personally I don't care for their products that much, to me they are just higher priced versions of puffed wheat that's been around for years. I think their products are way overpriced overall.

I am heading out to mow now, it's early evening.

Sorry I can't help with the Blackberry, we don't own one and I don't know of any of our friends/coworkers who do either??

I just got done mowing my back yard and discovered that one of my Buckeye trees is flowering for the first time since we planted them as babies, it was too dark or I'd share a photo. We should have baby buckeye nuts mid summer, not many as only one branch is flowering but at last!! we planted these about 6 or 7 years ago, I am so excited!!

Can you all believe it... I am still driving on the same gas I put in over 2 weeks ago? It was at 86 miles yesterday, wahoo!

Anna, sorry that you couldn't find some shoes you liked. Good job resisting the flip flops! They are not your friend.
Jean, I'm SO sorry! No wonder you've been feeling tired. Make sure you really rest. I know what a busy girl you can be, but take good care of yourself. Thinking of you.
Connie, how odd about the Omaha Herald. What in the world? Can't imagine why they would do that. My parents have gotten the Lincoln paper for years. Mom sends me the coupons they don't use. We don't get Roberts brand here, or Meadow Gold, so if you or Kathy want those, let me know. Don't have any just now, but she usually sends them every so often, just don't have the heart to tell her.
Norma, good deal on the beans and split peas.
Missibob, you crack me up! I hope the birds enjoy your Kashi bars. lol
It was a great race today. I had totally forgotten that this was Derby day. Everything was closed down, even the library and consignment store. Sadly for me. Ah, well, I guess that did end up being frugal after all. Even though I am still a little sad about it. Not that I'm whining or anything. lol
Other than that, just hanging out at home for the rest of the weekend.
Take care my friends, and have a very blessed Sunday!
Jamie.

It will probably be cheaper for you to order a newspaper from your state and coupons online is good too..

Are you signed up to get Taylortown? they seem very cheap on their coupons.

Barbzy

I meant to mention earlier glad that you liked Beauty Shop, I really enjoyed it. Have you watched Ice Cube's movies? Are We There Yet and Is It Done Yet? Very good and funny, clean too.
