Oh Jean, I am glad you are home! I had the same surgery. Be careful and take it easy. Soft hugs.
Cau, are you buying the supplement? That should help you save money. My dad and my inlaws have D plus the supplement. They pay nothing for their medical. Even MIL's radiation was covered.

Jean, oh honey, I'm so sorry that you have had to go thru this but...I'm happy they found it, and the other issues and have hopefully taken care of them and get you on the road to recovery. You are in my prayers and have been since the beginning of it all. Big hug to you.

Lisa

Jean, take it easy there, and give yourself a chance to heal properly. Prayers going up for you. That's a lot to deal with all at once.

Lisa- I've had to go to town, over 10 miles for a Little Caesar's pizza. Today, I saw a Little Caesar's about 5 miles from my house. I do love their mushroom pizza, and I get the $5 one.
Barb - I wish more people would ask their neighbors to swap coupons. Most people I ask to swap coupons or give what they don't use, are happy to do it. I thought the Avon lady I know was picking up coupons from her customers, but she tells me it is her neighbors who give her the coupons. I am the recipient of what she doesn't use and all she has ever asked me for is Blue Lake Green bean coupons which I've never seen.

Erica - I love Pigeon Forge, TN, near Gatlinburg and so much cheaper. You can stay in a cabin for cheaper than a motel and it is not as crowded as Gatlinburg. When I visited, I bought my food at Food Lion in Pigeon Forge, prices very reasonable, took my crockpot and cooked meals in that. Breakfast was $.99 for 2 eggs, 2 pieces of toast, grits. Coffee was $.99 That was a few years ago, but it was at light #3 in Pigeon Forge, going toward Cades Cove. It was a little restaurant about a block after you turn at light #3. We turned at that light to go to Walden Creek Ranch which is out that way, cheap famly entertainment. They are on the internet.

Frugal for me?Last night had to make not 1 but 2 runs to walmart and I grabbed 1 pair of jeans for my youngest to tryon.I also picked up a tank top and some wine coolers for my treat. Then this moring had to take my middle dd to an all day band thing.I am sure she will love that.I have a refferal for my back yard so I am going to try and see if I can that person to come out for a quote.
I might be going to gargae sales with my g/f and I do need to go to the bank so I am checking to see what esle i need this moring.Hope your day goes wonderful.
Jean,Hope you are feeling better and so sorry for all of your health problems.

Jean, take it easy and ask for help around the house you need to take care of you.

The weather looks good for being able to mow late afternoon giving the grass a chance to dry off.

Will be cleaning for dd1's birthday party tomorrow, need to get to the store and shop for the week and pick up a few things for the party. Will bake her cake today also.

I need to unpack and bag my Avon shipment also but not sure if that will happen today.

Roberta

Jean do not even think about vacuuming for a few months. That was one of my huge mistakes.

I don't know anyone else here who uses coupons. No one will clip them, use them or share them. Since we don't have the sunday paper in town, that makes it harder. I was told the sunday paper is in the 'big' town thirty miles away but even if it is, I can't drive thirty miles for a paper.

Jean, So sorry you had all those problems.
Glad you are on the road to recovery. Please ask your family for help as it will be a while before you can really do any housework.

It's raining here again. I'll be glad when June gets here.
