Wow! Another month has flown bye so quickly. I am looking forward to seeing what everyone comes up with in frugal ways for the month of April.

So glad to hear you are doing well in the store the time will fly there as you learn new things and meet new people.

Not sure how frugal today will be yet. I am suppose to go out for couple hours with Stacie to pick up some things that are cheaper than at the commissary (most of what I get is cheaper at the C)

Money will be spent today as the washer repairman will be here today instead of tomorrow. I am very excited. Nothing bothers me more than laundry piling up.

Good morning! Glad things are going well at your new job, Chris!
Anna, that's cute about your dh trying to trick you today. lol
Connie, so happy for you that you are getting the washer fixed. Know what you mean by not liking laundry piling up.
Frugal today is having my dh pick up library books today on his way home from work. I haven't had any for a while and now they have all come in at once. It will be nice to have a stack again. Other than that, I am just straightening up a bit and watering the tomato seeds and herbs we planted over the weekend. I put plastic wrap on top just until the seedlings come up. It keeps the warmth and moisture in. Dinner will probably be spaghetti and meatballs with salad. I need to make another batch of meatballs and cooked hamburger for the freezer next week.
Take care friends and have a blessed day today!
Jamie.

Chris, happy to hear that the new p/t job is going well!

Connie, hope the repair isn't too costly!

Pattie, I've heard that, about things being cheaper at the Commissary.

I made lasagna rolls last night so frugal there. Unfrugal went to WalMart to p/u Rachel and Alyssa's contacts (but I'd pd for those before) and spent $74 on clothes, but...much needed clothes. I found a pair of brown slacks for work for $15, a pretty top for $10, Meg a hoodie/jacket for $15, Meg a shirt for $3, Alyssa two shirts, one was $5 and the other $7. They are growing so fast, especially Meg!

Today, will run out in a bit and get my $1 McChicken sandwich then back to work where they keep water, soda, whatever you want really.

Tonight's dinner, leftovers! I don't plan on going anyplace else, but for a walk tonight, that's it!

Hope you all have a lovely day!
Lisa

Jamie

Prefryinger hamburger is one of the best tips I've found on here, it makes life so much easier and hamburger can be used for so many different food combinations. If it's cooked and ready, so much easier to say No to the temptation of fast food. We are having spaghetti tonight too. We just had it on Monday I think but we both love spaghetti and one of the meals I planned for we ran out of hamburger buns, the other mushrooms so rather than run to the store for one ingredient we will simply have a repeat meal with what we have in the cabinets. Tommorow will be leftover chili. We love spaghetti behind pizza it's dh's favorite meal so we're not suffering LOL! We are supposed to get our movie tonight Quarantine I'm looking forward to it.
