Since I couldn't get on FC I straightened up the storage room in my basement we have 2 storage totes full now of Income Tax Books we've kept all our tax papers and the booklets since 1985. I would hate to throw one of those booklets out and have to go back and try to figure out how we came up with our figures and after the guy telling me last year about them saying he owed money from 1986 and he couldn't get his W2's from that far back, I am so glad we kept ours.

I have more sprouts coming up in my seedling pots, it's so exciting to walk in my craft room and see another one popping up during the day. So far I have one cucumber cruncher that's up really good, alot of the cherry tomatoes have sprouted and a few habaneros. I need to pot up more of those this week and the seranos and jelapenos.

Unfrugal is I'm going to have to break down and go to Family Dollar today to get TP, we're on the last roll and sure don't want to risk running out. I tried White Cloud this week it doesn't last as long as Angel Soft.

Well I need to move my door stop (Windi) from the front door so I can go out here and enjoy some of this sunshine, it's supposed to get to 73 by 4 pm today.

I'm with Anna, WOO HOOO we're back on line!

Happy Birthday MrsManiac and Harleychic!!

I'm at work, am caught up with everything and killing time, with permission, lol!

Meg is feeling a lot better, thank you everyone for your concern.

I did mow my yard AND my mom's. Well, my yard is 2 yards so guess 3 total? Mom was surprised and very happy. My brother is supposed to do it but...not going to even go there. My back and shoulders hurt a bit now but not bad and I wasn't out of breath, so guess the working out is doing it's job!

Last night's frugal was eating leftovers. Today's frugal is going to be making supper at home, writing out bills, laundry, etc. My girls had all of the dishes all done when I got home and that was lovely!

I'm off to check the rest of my email. Hope you all have a great afternoon!

Lisa

The grass needs mowed so need to change the oil first. It hit 70 today which will be a big change for Fri & Sat when its only supposed to be 50-58.

Barb - hope you are feeling better
Roberta - I agree - crazy weather. 72 today, 50 tomorrow, and chances of flurries Mon. and Tues! Go figure.

I have more stuff sprouting as well. Cukes, zucchini, flowers, still no tomatoes or peppers yet.

Frugal today - went to Kroger to get milk and cottage cheese. Milk 99 half gal. or $3.09 gal. Gee - which did I buy?? lol. I even tried to convince a couple other people to get half gals. - cheaper and not as heavy. Same brand and expir. date. Their response "We always buy gallons". There's no helping some people. I also ran across Tenn.Pride sausage 1 lb. rolls for .75 on clearance!!! WOOHOO. I bought what they had (6) and froze.
I cleaned and organized frig. today. Also straightened pantry again (those darn lil' gremlins!!). Straightened the overstock area downstairs as well. Now I know what I have. I need to retype freezer sheets (they look like chickens walked all over them). haha
Talked to my niece for about 1 1/2 hours today. We don't talk often, so it was fun.
Meals from home. Dinner was leftover casserole and side salad.
Looks like rain is about to start. Oh boy!!

Take care and have a great evening.

Hello, friends! I just wanted to pop in and say hello. I haven't been on for the past couple of days.

Doctor put me on another anti-depressant and so far, so good. I am feeling a little more energetic and motivated. It will take at least a week before I feel the full benefit, but I do see a difference already.

Barb, I hope you are feeling better.

Well, I need to go rustle up some grub for dinner. All of this talk about spaghetti has put me in the mood for some. I have some clam sauce in the pantry. So we'll have that and a salad.

Talk to you all later. I hope you have a relaxing evening.

I did get the back yard mowed this afternoon after changing the oil. My plan is to get the front edged tomorrow and take a look at that grass, I don't think it needs mowed yet.

I'm so excited only 2 more weeks of confirmation and I'll have my Thursday evenings back LOL, it's been a long year.

Going to get the trash out so I can watch ER with out interuptions.... kids will just have to go to bed during commercials LOL.

The first load is in the washer. It is very quiet. I feel like I have a new toy!
Happy birthday MrsManiac and Harelychic!

Frugal maybe for someone is posting the old washer on freecycle. Who knows someone might need a pump or somthing off this machine.

Kathy

Glad your doctor was able to come up with a better med for you... have they ever talked of giving you that booster medicine, I can't remember what it's called but it goes with other anti depressants when they aren't working?

I had a good afternoon... strolled through my back yard and looked at everything budding (still no flowers on the forsythia, just the buds that are taking forever to open). I went around to the front of the house, looked at my roses and then went across the street to my friend Melissa's and looked at her one tulip that has opened, last year she had tons this year only one that is open so far. She also had 2 easter lillies open. I then went 2 doors down to my friend Wanda's she and her gd were outside looking at their flowers so I looked with them and visited for a few minutes, then my neighbor on my side of the street called out to me so I came back across and visited with her and the neighbor guy on the other side of her for a half hour or so, so I got to visit with several of my friendly neighbors today... so rejuvenating to the soul to have such good friends and neighbors.

Dh is still on OT, I think he has 10 1/2 hours in, will work more tommorow and all day on Saturday and maybe Sunday? I really don't want him working on Sunday, that is too much so I hope they can get the work all done in order for this big order to ship on Monday (the company ordering paid extra money for OT to get the order expedited). The extra money will be handy as there are so many little extra's that we need, the dogs are all 3 due in May for rabies shots, parvo/distemper combo that we get them every year and of course all that dog stuff... flea meds & heart guard to keep them protected.

Frugal tonight was leftover chili and dh suggested I make grilled cheese sandwiches with it, so it was a excellant meal. We still have alot of chili left over so I'll put that into containers tommorow and freeze it for a meal this coming week.

Frugal tommorow is on my trip to Logan I'll stop again at Walmarts and do some of my grocery shopping so no gas wasted.

Well that's about it for now... everyone have a good evening.

Anna
