Finally got my computer back from the virus attack, luckily DH was able to blow it away after transfering what I needed to save for my business over then network.

Been eating from home even though I heard fast food calling me this weekend so just had fast meals. Had baked frozen burritos and thawed out beans & rice, hotdogs & french fries with fruit, leftovers, chicken & noodle soup with hamburger patties.

Will go to the grocery this afternoon since I didn't go last week and will pick up what we are running low on. The only thing in the ad this week that interested me was turkey breasts for $.99 lb willl get one and bake it for tomorrow's dinner and one for the freezer.

Have ham & bean soup soaking now for tonights dinner with the last of the ham, will have corn bread and raw veggies.

Roberta

Well we woke up to snow not as much as most people have gotten (thank heaven) but still enough so this ole gal will not get out in it. Not even to go across the street to Gina's.
So will be frugal today and think I will have a soup today from what ever is in my pantry/freezer

Mish, with as many girls in that house are you telling me you don't constantly have a run for TP??? What is wrong with my girls? LOL

Roberta, happy you have the computer up and running again. Knock on wood I've been lucky, no virus attacks on the new one so far.

Karen, hope dd feels better and gets to stay in school today.

I'm going to get my laundry finished, do the dishes, make a shopping list for Aldi then run into town.

Yesterday we DID find clothes for Meg, miracle of miracles. She's 12-1/2, my opinion means nothing where clothes are concerned you know. I took all girls with me so Rachel could assist in the clothes buying, Meg respects her fashion sense. We found 2 pr of jeans and 2 really cute tops at a store called Rue21 in Carbondale for right at $60 for all, they were on sale. She loves them and is wearing a new outfit to school as we speak! I got Rachel's jeans off of lay away. They were the jeans that my ex was supposed to send her the money for to get them out and he never did. He also never sent Meg money for Christmas so...guess I bought his Christmas yesterday huh? Sad, very sad.

I did also do a DG run yesterday morning using coupons from Norma. I got 2 boxes of Tide for $1.50 off 2, cat food $1.00 off, 2 Dove deodorant/anti get $1.50 off. They also had the big bottle of Palmolive green apple scent for $2. I love my DG! LOL. so I'm stocking up. Waiting for a good TP set of coupons!!! Will make room in the shed for that!

I have to get moving, hope you all have a lovely day!

Hugs,
Lisa

I have to laugh about the TP, we use a roll a day. I was reading that book on survival I mentioned earlier this weekend and she said 1 roll of TP should last per person a week... I'm thinking she must have borrowed that info. from another source with the TP made today even double rolls it last us 24 hours a roll.

Dh took the day off today so I probably won't get much computer time today, right now he is back in bed watching some old movie. He now has about 5 weeks of vacation and personal time a year and is taking full advantage of it. We woke up this mornng to a light snow, it did stick but not very much. For those of you in the NE stay safe and Crochet2, glad they gave you all a 2 hour delay from work.

Boggz

Love the new picture of you and dh.

Frugal today will be staying home, maybe running to the bank this afternoon to transfer money from the business account to the personal account.. they aren't linked to each other for legal reasons.

And for any of you who have POGO, watch your bank account closely. Dh went to log in there this weekend and they came up saying our credit card had expired. They were going to take money out of our account without sending us any notice or asking if we wanted to renew it. Thank God the credit card they were trying to pull the money from is the one I lost last month and canceled, it could have really thrown my personal checking account out of whack as I wasn't expecting it. In the past they've always sent us notice that it was about to time to expire and we had to authorize the money to come out, they must be desperate for money this year. I'm sure there are alot of people who are re-evaluating their personal expenses and what they can live without and canceling their memberships.

I buy the Scott brand but never the Ultra Soft as made that mistake one time and that was enough for me. With what I buy it last sometimes 3 days depending on how much Judy is home lol.

I don't play anything online that I have to pay for so no worries there for me

Ellen, the really long strip, how long? That would be easy to make. I am working on the fan shape in my head. The fan is in the back?
The panty liners are done.
Norma, I have never see a pretty snow shoveling job.
The four of us use one roll of tp a day.
It is chilly here! I shut the stove off since the weatherman said it was suppose to be in the 60s. Hum.... I have two loads of jeans that I had planned to hang out. It is a brisk 33 out. Think the dryer may be used today. So much for planning! I think the stove will be started back up!

Patti

We use to use the Scott regular and it last a long time but dh started saying it bothered him, that it was too rough so we switched to Angel Soft after trying Charmin (stopped up the toilet) and Cottonelle, he didn't like that one either not because it wasn't soft can't remember? I just bought the Scott Ultra Soft but haven't used it yet so I'll be curious to see how it works and how long it last.

And on Pogo, I am not one to play games at all of any kind but dh loves all the games and spends hours and hours playing so it's worth the money but not when they are taking it without asking GRRR!!

I'm waiting on my heat gun to get hot, making tea light candles today with some of the valentines day tarts that didn't sell, remelting and pouring into tea lights to take back down to the store. I had forgotten I had this big bag of tea lights 100 count and 100 wicks to match it and found it during one of my searches for something else. I am using the soap boxes I have hundreds of and don't use that much to put the tea lights in, theres a hole cut in the front of them so people can smell the scent. There appears to be a big problem at our store with theft (the lady next to me has had 5 purses stolen) so I'm going to tape both ends of the tea light boxes shut so they can't take them out and put in their purses, coats, etc.
