Good morning all!!

Karen, because you asked so nicely, (and I just got the word).....Cyber Monday:

Go to www.6abc.com to see approximately 30 links for online stores with some deep discounts.

I am feeling somewhat better. Those antibiotics are starting to kick in. And the soup, and hot tea with honey and lemon can't be doing a bad job either.

I met the choir director in church yesterday. She has what I have too. But we will muddle through it all.

My sister called me last night. She is starting to get a little weird. She said she was outside my house, and asked if she could come in. Of course I said yes. She had just come from Urgent Care and got an "out of work" slip for 3 days. She pulled her back out on Thursday. She hasn't been to work since the beginning of October and she is out again. She asked if I would take her out of work slip in to her job today.

But the thought that she would be sitting outside my house, in her car, calling to ask if she can come inside - that made me feel like I was being stalked. I dated a guy who would do that to me, at 3 am. I had to get rid of him.

Jean, you should just call the doctor's office today to report that you had an episode of coughing up blood, and what day it was. You can explain that it has subsided, but that you want it noted on your records. Let the doctor decide if it was straining, or if there is something more going on that needs to be addressed.

Connie, I am proud of Jasmine also. And for what it's worth, if the rest of the family is as dysfunctional as you describe, there is no point in subjecting the kids to that. And "yay" to getting rid of one more box of clutter.

Anna, those clear balls are so great for all kinds of things. Photos are a great idea. I am glad that you had a sale, even if it was just one. Remember, the journey of one thousand steps, begins with the first one. May you have continued, and growing sales always.

Well ladies, better go for now. I have to get breakfast, and get dressed, etc.

Take care all!! Norma

Thanks Norma for the words of encouragement.. with sales so big in our current store, it's a little scary having such a small sale. I doubt we'll stay in this store once our lease is up, we'll be checking into the store on the highway... we may not be able to sell our candles there, that was the issue with them last year when they invited us to join is that they had too many candle sellers but that was before we started selling our oils so we'll see.

Frugal today is staying home and continuing to clean in the front room a little bit. I found a box of my ornaments, duh! it was right in the hall going to the basement on top of a cabinet wrote in huge letters Christmas Ornaments, LOL!

Happy Cyberspace Monday to those of you looking for bargains.

Anna

I can’t believe it is December already. Most of my shopping is done, I don’t know how I did it before online shopping. It is so much easier
I hope all who are sick start feeling better
Jean coughing blood is nothing to fool with Call the dr
Swiss meat loaf is a meatloaf with cut up chunks of swiss cheese mixed up in it. My family loves it that way and everyone will eat it otherwise half are complaining
My ,mil used to put hard boiled eggs in the middle of her meatloaf to stretch it further. Funny the things we remember, but it is a good way to get more servings out of the meat,
The outside and tree are up , we still need to finish the tree and do the rest of the house. I hate being wheelchair bound and having to have others do it. O well it could be worse.
I plan to call the drs office today, a few questions have come up.

Good Monday Morning Ladies,

I just finished catching up on the last few days posts, dh was home for 5 days so I got very little online time.

Jean, Kathy and Norma, sorry you have been feeling bad. I also had a sore throat the day before Thanksgiving, which is generally a sign that a cold will kick in the next day and it did. A couple issues back in All You I think it was it said taking zinc lozenges at the first sign of sneezing and runny nose would lesson the time of the cold by 42%. I bought the Walmart generic version and have been using a couple each day. They do seem to help.

Jamie I hope you find some good deals while grocery shopping today, I will be going this Sunday. Jean were you also shopping today? What goodies did you find?

Cau, I too am almost done Christmas shopping, actually I thought I was done until we went to ds1's house for Thanksgiving and one of the presents I bought his almost 3 month old daughter they already had. So now I need one more thing. Will get that Sunday while I am shopping in the city. My dd1 and her dh were out shopping (finishing up) all day Black Friday. I babysit the 2 grandkids for them. I too have been playing Christmas CD's, had one going on Thanksgiving morning while I was cooking and dh thought I was "rushing" the season, LOL.

Lisa, you sure have been busy.

Anna, hope your sales in the new store continue to grow. Dh and I were just talking yesterday about rearranging the living room and getting a love seat, we have a hide a bed couch and 3 rocker recliners, 2 end tables and the entertainment center in there at the moment.

Frugal this week is staying home, dried a load of laundry on the clothesline Saturday. This coming Saturday is dh's company Christmas dinner, love free prime rib! I'm off to make coconut cookie bars for dh now, I finished off the brownies this weekend. Then I'll see what else I can get into.
