We had perfect weather for HAlloween ,I was disappointed on how few kids we got.TOns of candy left so we will have some creative Christmas cookies. Cass had a ball but had TO WORK AT THE STABLES THIS MORNING. Sorry for the caps, didn't realize it was on

Weather will be nice most of the week but being in Illinois then the shoe will drop.

Frugal is trying to cut back
Jean great on the coat.I realized I don't even have one yet. I have to get out to get it soon

Great pictures Anna and Lisa!
Frugal today was cold water wash and hanging the clothes on the line. Went grocery shopping and did have $23.oo in coupons plus in-store savings. I got a free 3 lb. bag of Iams Cat Food. They sent me the coupon in the mail. Love getting things for free. I am making a chicken in the crockpot tomorrow. This will give us some leftovers and chicken soup.
Well...we are going to visit with my parents shortly. We are all going out to dinner. Can't wait!
Have a great afternoon.

Thanks for all the congratulations on my win, the class was fun & free. My daughter had seen it first in the Jewel ad, they ran the class on three Thurs., in different Jewel stores each week, about 30 stores each week(listed in the ad). That's a lot of planning!! My daughter wanted to go but couldn't, talked me into going & I talked Sophie into going by telling her that I would pick her up(it was from 7-8:30 & she doesn't like to drive at night). We both had a good time & want to do it again next year.

I loved everyones' pictures. I sat out on the front steps to hand out candy as it was 70 degrees at 5 PM!! Also kids rang the doorbell at 4:50 & the cat took off before I could lock him up in my bedroom(with his food & litterbox). I tried to lure him out with treats & nip but he wasn't buying it!! So I figured it would be safer to just sit outside. We only had 50 kids this year(we have had as many as 200 some years). There are fewer little kids in our neighborhood & the teens were getting ready to go to the sectional football game at the high school(Lowell is 3rd in the state). Lowell won so they will advance. Yeh, RDP(Red Devil Pride)!!

Connie, I loved your post on the email. I have gotten some of those forwarded to me from friends & it does make you feel good that they feel that way about you. Good luck on the fund raiser.

Today I was enjoying the red color on my two red maples in the back yard before they drop all of their leaves(just started). Plus I am feeling blessed thinking about my three really good close friends & their support & all my friends here on FC. Have a good weekend & don't forget to turn your clock back if you follow daylight saving time.

Gloria

Oh, I am so tired! I didn't get the angel food cakes baked. The label read shared equipment peanut, pecans...... I will toss those in the trash. I don't know whom I could give them to. I want them out of my house. I have almost 130 servings of cake. I can buy more cake mix in town and bake more cakes. We will be taking the car and the van. Can't get everything in the van! I don't know what else we have to do. I think I will take a nap.

Connie, I'm sure everything will work out and I hope you get your nap in.

We had 25 kids last night. I had 34 bags of goodies made up so my ds took the rest home with him. They had hot chocolate, 2 smarties candies and a fun size candy in them.

I have had a nice relaxing day today. No one here but me. I paid bills, did laundry still doing it had 5 loads to do.

Looking forward to watching movies tonight. Everyone have a good evening.
