What Did You Do Frugal Today? - 16

This group is so frugal--except with advice on how to be frugal! We're all happy to share that!

Yes, I was just going to suggest Land's End, also. LLBean has nice classic jeans as well. Their sizes are usually about one size larger than they say, though. So, you might want to keep that in mind.

Subscribing, On the jeans issue I have everything form an 18 to a 22 in my closet & they all fit fine. Just depended on where they came from. I'm WP also & had to shorten every pair. When I find 1 I like I try to buy a few pairs just so I don't have to go out there again. Last spring that back fired on me I had bought 2 tee shirts at Wallmart the summer before in Just my Size & I went back in the spring & stocked up. They were 3/4 of an inch narrower, so back they went. Frustrating I sure wish they had standard sizes GO BEARS !

Ya know I had a extra pair in my cart same kind and carried them all through the store, added two more throw rugs and put the extra pair back (sigh) dh ask me too why I didn't get a extra pair, they were on sale too. I may have to make a second trip ( frugal as its on my way home, so no extra gas used). Will wait till Friday when I have to stop same area and pick up our prescriptions.

Barb & JJOJ

We don't have either of those stores here I don't think?

LoriMae

Thanks... that's what Kohls had too was all "Stretch" jeans Yuck! I will check out their website for the Lee jeans, perhaps frugal too might be checking out ebay. Our thrift stores have hundreds of jeans but I got so wore out standing there trying to go through every pair. At times in the past they had them seperated out by Plus sizes and regular, that made it so much easier.

Frugal today: received 3 rebate checks in the mail plus a $10 rebate gift card! Talk about "happy mail!" The 3 checks added up to less than $15 total, but hey, it's just under $15 that I didn't have before

Gosh, you're really getting into the groove on this rebate thing! Good job.

Frugal Today? Brought the last slice of homemade pizza from last week for lunch today. Got tons of bread from our bread guy bagels, hot dog and hamburger buns ( these are in short supply), and bread. I may take more at last break if theres any left and share with some of our other neighbors.

Also frugal was holding off on ordering my purse supplies as I got a new offer from Hobby Lobby (Crafts etc.) for 25% off plus free shipping on orders over $25.00. Gotta like that offer.

It's catalog only or internet sales for those 2 stores. For Lands End if you buy it and don't like it, you can return to any Sears store.

Barb, I didn't realize that you could do that. That is very handy to know. If you did get the wrong size, it would certainly save on the postage costs to return an item!
