Frugal was finding out yesterday that we were eligible for Wic at least for 6 months I thought it was based on current salary but they go back for last year, and with him on Unemployment we made it. Evan is only covered till April since he will turn 5 at that time. That saved me about 25.00 at the grocery last night. saved 32.00 with regular groceries between sales and coupons. At first I felt guilty for doing the Wic, but I suppose I should not since we qualified! With all the money we have spent on the car and co-pays for dr.visits and medicine it will really come in handy!
LJSmom, Thats scarey they forgot about him, that could sure rack up some serious medical bills.
Anna, I checked out the Freecycle in my area but my goodness things go so quick you would have to sit over the computer wathcing as they post RIGHT away!

Leighann, Dont feel guilty about using WIC. That is why it is there.
I wondered about my dad recieving commodities..... Don't think he would do it. Honestly I am not nice since I was thinking what he didn't use he would give to us. Now that is something I do feel guilty about. Shouldn' tbe thinking about myself.
