I did win the second bid... 5 molds for 99 cents plus the shipping, total $4.94. Not too bad.
I will try to post a picture of the finished cake product. It set up well and I wax/glued the two together this morning. Tonight will be the hole punching for the wicks and decorating.

I’d Like To Help You Out.. Which Way Did You Come In?
Well, I had an exciting weekend, which is running into today!!
We have baby Opossums in our home!!!!
It is a rather long story, but will try to sum it up!
On Friday night, we heard a noise in our bedroom, and thought it was one of our cats. But, than we heard it hiss, only one of cats have ever hissed and that is at strangers. We could see the things tail which appeared to be a rats tail, so we managed to get it in a box, and threw the box with the critter in it, into the creek. We thought the problem was solved!
Saturday night, DH, seen a "rat" in the laundry room, so I send him to WalMart for rat traps, rat poison, and humanity traps. And than pulled the dryer front, and let Miss Princess kitty go through the hole in the wall, to see of she could scare them out. She did not scare them out, but, she brought one out, it was a freaking baby Opossum!!!!
As of this morning, we have five baby Opossums in a big fish aquarium, and one that is in the couch(hoping that one comes out tonight). Once we are sure we have them all we will take them to where ever it is that the WildLife Management tells us to!! Apparently the "Rat" we booted into the creek was the Momma Opossum!!!
Frugal was acquiring several plants from my Mom when I visited her yesterday. They are both indoor and outdoor plants. Some black eyed susans, marigolds, and bleeding hearts for outside, and two indoor plants, one she called a Herman plant, not sure if she even mentioned the name of the other one!
DS, mowed my parents' neighbors' yard. So Grandpa paid him for that.

Wow, Mom2-4, I bet that was a shock! lol I have a bleeding heart bush also. I love it. Wish it bloomed all summer, though.
Vickilynn, have fun on your trip! It sounds like you have lots of fun things planned.
Frugal today was picking strawberries to freeze. Also, I'm getting ready to make freezer meals. Take care everyone and have a great day!
Car sharing w/ dh to work.
Bringing our lunch and drinks to work with us.
Making dinner at home tonight, spaghetti w/ meat balls.
Working on my candle cake, if it turns out well will be mass producing to take to the mall next month.
That's about it for today. Take care everyone hope the suns is shining where you are at. Our's has been in and out supposed to get rain this evening.

Not a lot frugal here, except the usual - taking lunch.
On my way back home from dropping my nephew off, I stopped when I saw one of the city's ex-cops who owns his own lawn care business. I asked him to "call his Mom", a message I always get whenever I see her. And I asked him to do a really good job at the alley of the woman who lives behind me. It gets real overgrown over there, and I never what might be in there.
Maybe opossums????
While they are cute, they can be dangerous, even the babies. Be careful - they could have rabies. Yes, babies with rabies.
In New Jersey, we didn't have too many animals who had rabies, until 1986 when some rabid racoons swam the Delaware River entering Trenton (sorta like a reverse ride of Washington crossing the Delaware into Pennsylvania), and the little critters have been making their rabid way throughout the state ever since. We in Atlantic County just had our first racoon test rabid ever in the last couple of months.
Well ladies, I better go for now, the dishes are calling. And I want to get some stuff done around here.
Eek! I could not imagine opposums in the house. I hope you catch the other one soon.
I stopped at Meijer today and ended up coming out with a lot more then I intended too. They had coupons for an additional 50% off clearance merchandise. This made a lot of the merchadise 90% off. I bought DH some glue and batteries for less than 50cents. DS now has two new sweatshirts for $1.64. Spray Paint, for which I am wanting to paint some baskets, for .30 and .10.

We had raccoons in our shed once, many moons ago. Of course by the time dh was done trying to get them out, one ran up my nightgown...... they are very soft. Why I didn't kill my dh I have no idea......
Has anyone taken all or most of thier carpet out and replaced it with nice tile? Our Alco (discount store) sell nice tile. We have replaced the kitchen floor and I bought some for ds's bedroom floor. Dd asked if we could do her floor next. Since she can't vacuum her floor, she would like tile. She can use a swiffer. I am playing with the idea about tearing up the carpet in the living room and dining room and replacing the livingroom with tile. The dining room is oak, I think it is in good shape. Two thirds of the living room is oak but it would be too much work to replace the plywood, says dh. I do think he has a point since he would be working over a crawspace. Would I miss my carpet? I just don't know.......

While we don't have tile we did tear up and throw out our carpeting. I have a area rug in my front room, the rest of the house just throw rugs. I don't miss the carpeting at all. We always wear shoes in the house though, me slide on flip flop type thingys and dh houseshoes so we don't get our tootsies cold.

Thanks for your input. I will tackle ds's room then dd's and will see about the dining room and living room. I guess it will depend on when dh ever desides to have surgery. I don't think I can do the floors by myself... but it would look so nice. Alco has a light light gray/white marble tile.........
