Vicki, sorry about your SIL. I know she will be missed, but glad she isn't suffering any longer, much like my grandmother.

Frugal today, Using a coupon for a DVD, and receiving more coupons inside the DVD, for additional DVD's. I am a Disny DVD junkie, it is my vice, and my downfall. Cooking supper, even though I don't want to.

Combining my errands also when driving dd to school. Showing the house again tomorrow. Please keep your fingers crossed for us. Thank you!

Vicki, sorry about your SIL. im sure she isnt in pain anymore tho. you and your family are in my prayers.

i wanted to let everyone know what a good deal i got tonight at the store. i got 6 bags oreo cookies, 2 boxes alpha bits cereal, 3 boxes jose ole mini tacos, 3 chimichangas, 2 bags sugar, and 48 boxes of total cereal ( a mix of honey clusters and strawberry) for a total of...are you ready..total spent? $48.55 total saved? 118.82. i love it when that happens. plus on each box is a coupon for $1 off a box, and a coupn that says when you buy 3 you get one free. so the cereal that is on sale this week for $3.99 for 2 boxes, will wind up costing me about .03 for 4 boxes.
i cant wait to go back tommrow and get more. i wont have to get cereal for a long time.
and the coupons..are long dated to july of 06. im happy. im happy.

have a good night everyone.

VickiLynn - sending you sympathy and prayers on the loss of your SIL. Knowing she is at peace now is helpful. You have had a busy summer.

Anna - thinking of you too with your MIL.

I am amazed at the generousity of the citizens of the U.S. and how they have opened their hearts to the evacuees. So much has been donated money and material wise. There are now over 900 evacuees here and another 500+ are expected and have cots waiting for them. There have been 400 donated or reduced rents apartments/homes for them. Care packs have been donated for all here and many truckloads have been shipped south.

Frugal staying home or when going out combining errands.

Frugal today, once again, not much. I have to drive 20 miles one way over a mountain to Wal*Mart to pick up dd's portraits that were taken a few weeks ago. They don't have a permanent studio there, so I have no idea how the pictures even look until I get there, then you decide what to buy.

I'm trying to clean the house, as we have people coming to look in 2 hours, and the little I watch, is going right behind me messing things up. GRRRRRRRR.

Post Just To Let You Know

My mil has taken a turn for the worst... she is very confused and disoriented, the nurses say it is the poison in her liver spreading. I will be taking a leave of absence from work starting tommorow so I won't be on here much, just a little bit in the evenings.

We normally close this at 100 pages but since I probably won't be able to catch it in time I will be closing this one shortly and posting a link to the new one.

Anna

I'm sorry, Anna. I will be praying that it will be easy for her. My God comfort you and your dh at this time.
Beckanoah, good luck on the house showing today. I hope this will be the one.
Wow, Ericka, you did super on your savings!
Frugal for today is opening the windows. It is cool and pleasant today. Helped oldest ds finish moving and did some grocery shopping with him yesterday. It seems a little lonely without him here, but I expect him to be around and calling here and there. I have been cleaning out closets and cupboards and organizing this morning. Not fun, but it feels good to have things in order. Take care and I'll talk to you all later.

Anna, I'm sorry about your MIL. We will keep you all in prayer at this difficult time.

Frugal today will be using up some English muffins, spaghetti sauce & mozzarella cheese (all leftovers from other meals) to make the kids a muffin pizza lunch.
