I sure wish I had one of those new beach cruiser bikes with the nice padded seats and big fat tires... We had them as kids and used to ride them to school (we lived at the beach) and our parking spots for our bikes were next to the school sidewalk. I don't know if I could go 2 miles on my treadmill @ one time at this point, but I try to divide it into several 15 or 20 minutes periods during the day. Right now I am only going 2.8 -speed on an 8% incline, that is keeping me at my "target" heart rate as of this time in my class. I do over two miles combined though on the different machines during my hour. We also have been doing weights, the hand weights that are up to 7-8 lbs. Boy, and they make every part of my poor ol' body ache for a bit a few hours later! That's good though as I know they work then Tomorrow is weigh in so will post it when I get home from class. (you know it seems the Dr. type scales always seem to be over what the ones at home show ...)

Yesterday dh ate lunch out with his photography class and had pizza so I made myself a big salad. I did some indoor walking on Friday since it was pouring down rain. I've been feeling very tired and getting headaches so don't know if I'm coming down with something or my thyroid meds need adjusting. I'm taking it easy today.

Monday morning weigh in. Ugh! Did lose 4 pounds last week and treated myself by ordering cute pink flats. It was a week full of meals out, sweets everywhere and meetings with "snacks" available. How did everyone else do?

Apricot- I hope you feel better soon! Chadsmom, paddi - good work! Connie, I am like you. I ate my way thru my week and the cherry on top of the ice cream sunday? Taco Bell. Whoops.
BUT - if you knew all I did this weekend, (and I shant bore ya'll with it) I burned it off. I am stocked up on fresh spinach and frozen salmon patties, so I will be stir-frying all week for my dinners. I need a kale break
I have never done a juice fast but I am not good with sweet stuff, so I am no help here. Sorry Connie.
I do have to give a victory whoo-hoo as I ran a total of 9 minutes today during my 2 miles. The most I have run since the end of January. Finally! I think I am on the mend.
Good work everyone. I love coming here on Mondays and reading everyone's success and challenges!

I'm feeling a little better today. When I woke up my back was hurting though, so I did some stretching exercises and that helped me get through the day. Nothing like pain to motivate me to exercise. My scale hasn't budged yet.
