Who has a 5th wheeler and where do you go?
:daisy
We have a 30 ft older 5th wheel, have enjoyed visiting WA and in June will be going to South Dakota for 2 weeks,
We're retired, not tired, and enjoy just shorter trips to areas around MT.

I have a 27 footer and I live in mine at what used to be a KAO. I thought I could become clausterphobic, but it hasn't been bad at all. I am about to start my 4th year of living in it while I attend school. We've also taken it to the mountains in NM camping and we like that too.
Are you going to Mt Rushmore? We went to South Dakota 3 yrs ago(not camping). We also went to Custer State Park,The Badlands,Deadwood, & Devil's Tower(in WY). Very beautful & scenic.

I don't have a 5th wheel. But we have a 30ft travel trailor. We love taking it to different camp grounds. Have been all over the east coast. This year with gas prices we are staying more local(with in 2 hrs). We have been to Lancaster, PA already this year. We try and go camping at least 1 weekend a month during the spring and summer months.
Bilby... I think a 5th wheel is a trailer that you mount/attach to the middle of a truck bed with a big doohicky. LOL
We just purchased a motorhome last year and it is FUN FUN. The best place so far is PISMO Beach. You can actually camp on the beach. We didn't take the new vehicle out on the sand, but we stay at a wonderful RV resort. It was 70 degrees New Years day, and the Monarch butterflies were absolutely grogeous.

Sonya I went and had a look a 5th wheeler and you're correct, I know them before but not the name, a lot of the horse travelling people around here seem to have them for travelling.
The ones I see most often are beds and home up front (near the doohicky) and a place for 2 horses to lead on at the back.
