Pebble Beach is a great one (especially for golfers), but along that coast is gorgeous and relatively close to large cities - quite rare for California!
We usually go to the Harbor Festival in Morro Bay every October. We will miss it this year due to a conflict. I will sure miss my time there, but NEXT year!!!!!
Donna, That's a nice picture of your mom and I recognize that rock at one of my favorite places. We usually go in September but last year went in October and it was very hot. We didn't know about a harbor festival. When is it usually held?
We went to Monterey instead this year and did enjoy it but probably won't go back. We also visited Pebble Beach, which was somewhat of a disappointment but we are not golfers or boaters and it seemed that it would be more appealing to people with those interests.
