Family Passes Save Big $$

When our family of four was planning a trip to the zoo in July '08, we went on the website to look up info about it and found out that for a little more than what we would be spending on a one-time admission we could purchase a family pass that would be good for an entire year! And not only did the pass give us unlimited access to the zoo, we could also use it to get in at 3 aquariums and a couple of museums as well!! And that was just in our state! The pass could actually be used throughout the country at various places for either free or a discounted admission.

Although the pass paid for itself with the first use, we have since visited the zoo on 3 other occasions and also went to 2 of the aquariums. You'd be surprised to learn that a lot of places have monthly events that take place (i.e. "Boo at the Zoo" for Halloween) and not only are you getting out of the house and spending quality time with your family, you're kids are in a learning environment AND it's a little extra exercise to boot! Who could ask for more right?

I could go on and on about how wonderful family passes are but I'm sure you'd just like to see for yourself! LOL For anyone that's in NC, here's the link to the Asheboro Zoo and if anyone has any questions they'd like to ask feel free!!

We have a 3 park pass here, Movie world, Sea world and water world, they are owned by the same corp. You can get a yearly pass for all 3 or a 1 visit per park within a week pass. It is good value esp when you have a whole summer to fill.
It always pays to check out the website first they can even have 10 or more discounts so if you have another family who want to visit it's cheaper also.

We are in NC too. We've been to the RiverBanks zoo in SC but not to the zoo in Asheboro. I've heard it's really nice there.

I totally agree with checking out family passes to save money!
