How long/far?

How long or how far would you travel for a day trip?

I think the longest we have travelled is about 2.5 hours. It was to the beach and we took my grandma. She loved coming on trips with us an could walk for miles as long as it was flat. Most of the places we go to are fairly close but hilly, so we travelled further so she could enjoy it with us. It was about 150/80 miles away

For us 2-2.5 hours away for a day trip ......... generally, could be more!
Though it's nothing for us to drive 13 -15 hours to another state.

Everything is so far away/apart for us and we always drive.

Was 2.5 hours the closest beach for your gran or just the beach she wanted to visit?

A 2 hr drive one way would be about the limit for a day trip for us. We hope to go to several area attractions this summer in place of a big vacation.

2 hours one way is the limit here.

3 1/2 ---When we take the grandkids. We just leave a little earlier to make sure we get there on time to have a full day of fun.
