I’ve been having a real hard time deciding where to take my wife on vacation this year. I really want to go to Hawaii but it’s too expensive for us this year. I’ve been surfing the web a lot lately and found a 2 for 1 cruise deal offered through an Agents Network Program. It’s really the best deal I found and it seems like a lot fun. Since I always very skeptical I would like a second opinion (hopefully from someone who’s been through the experience before), because my vacations are very important to me. Has anyone heard or tried this program? If not, do you know of any other cheap vacation programs? I found the program at [Edited] by the way.

I havent heard of that program -- is it a travel agent? Some things that I have not heard of I am very skeptical of because you dont want to get ripped off.
But as for a cruise -- I have been 3 and they are great. There are small rooms but otherwise it is great!!
You should check out some hotels on hotels.com because i have been seeing those commercials that they are having specials
Good Luck and I hope you have a great time doing whatever -- keep us posted
Cheryl, we went on a cruise last summer. If you google "last minute cruise deals" you can find some good prices. Of course, if you go last minute you don't get your pick of cabins or dining times (as we discovered) but all in all, we had a great time Even with a tropical storm raining on our parade, we had a blast.
I've never been on a cruise... any cruisers out there? What is the best/worst part of going on a cruise? Where should you cruise? How long is a the right amount of time for a first time cruiser?
I'm not going to book anything for a while, but please let me know what your experiences have been.
Peggy, the cruise we went on was 4 days. That was our first cruise. I think it was a good length. I was very worried about how I would feel, like would I need to get off that boat and be panicking because I couldn't? It wasn't that way at all, and I had no problems with seasickness.
I will say that cruises are really designed for people who like to drink, party, and gamble. That is not my family, so there were not a lot of activities for us once you took those things out.
My best advice is to make sure your cabin has at least a window that looks outside. We had an interior cabin and it was really weird to be in a room with no windows. We had no clue about the time of day or anything.
