My husband bought a used trampoline from someone at work. They said that they had only had it for a year and that they took it down and put it back in the box. She only wanted $50 for it. It sounded like a good deal to us with five kids. It wasn't in the box and when we put it up it had two 2"x2" holes in it. I really need it for my special needs child to help him when he feels agressive. I'm afraid that if we don't mend the holes now they will get bigger. But we have no idea how to do it. We need a low cost solution.
With 5 you can't hear yourself think.
And I think outloud!!
I was thinking could you use that stretchy elastic thread??? I would check with Joanne's Fabric...they carry all sorts of different threads, also there are allot of "crafty" type people that work there!!!;-)
Hope you find an answer.
I have never known any distress that an hour's reading did not relieve.
have you thought about using canvas for tents, they sell patches, or failing that try repair kit for innertubes for bikes, that might be the better option. hope one of them works, happy jumping.
Sue, we had a trampoline for years and years and whenever we got a hole or it needed the stitching redone around the edges we would take it to the local upholsterer. They would fix it up for not much $ at all. The hours and hours of enjoyment that the kids got from it was worth a little money spent. Good luck.
