The turkey has been eaten...the pie has been served...then what??
What does your family do once Thanksgiving dinner and dessert has been eaten?
When I lived back in Pa. and my family would come over for dinner, we would usually play cards or boards games in the evening and then sit around talk. Now that it's just us here in NC, we usually go for a drive ...and have ended up at KMart for their sales. ROFL!!
I'd like to do something new and fun this year but I'm not sure what it would be. What does your family do?

Usually we just hang out at the house and talk after the dinner. Everyone is usually to full to want to do anything. We all need to save our energy for the 4am sale run on the stores for BLACK FRIDAY!

I used to gear up for Black Friday but I didn't go last year and I probably won't this year unless there is something that I just have to have.
Tree, my kids would love to go camping. Unfortunately, my dh and I only go camping at a Holiday Inn. ROFL!! We're not the outdoor type. It sure sounds like fun, though!!
Going to the movie theater was a big thing on Thanksgiving evening in Pa.

It's sort of funny because when we lived in Illinois every other year we would have Thanksgiving at a family friends home and then the off year we would go out to dinner at some little coffee shop / diner. Then when we moved back to California we would have deep fried Turkey w/DH's family - outside playing with then only nephew, or after the little ones came along inside talking and joking about, or playing cribbage after wards (some other games /puzzles). Here in Washington though, we have spent the last few T-days with parts of my family at their homes eating and conversing, then going home. In away we are in a similar boat because there is just the two of us (the cats stay home)...

My best friend and her family comes to my house around 5:30 pm and we all walk down to the square to watch the tree lighting, sing Christmas carols and wait for Santa to come on a fire truck.

The guys usually do the dishes and the women go into the living room and watch football and yell at the guys, as to what is going on. Then everyone tries to stuff down desserts. I spend time packing leftover for everyone to take home with them. Then a well deserved nap.
