I just saw a commercial I saw last year and it one one I so enjoyed that I had to start this thread.
The commercial shows a boy going up to a Marine in his dress blues standing at attention. The boy asks him if he is Santa because he had brought his wish list. The boy inhales in surprise when the Marine turns his hand to have the boy place the list in it. then places his hand back at his side. The boys runs from the Marine exclaiming, "He is Santa Claus!".
Another commercial I enjoyed was the one where Mean Joe Green threw his jersey to the boy who shared his soda with him . . .

I bet that Marine commercial would make me cry! I get so emotional around the holidays with commercials like that.
The one that sticks out in my mind is where the big brother returns home and sneaks in to make a pot of coffee to wake everybody up. When his very little sister runs down the steps to see him....it gets me every time! I havent seen that one yet this year, sure hope they run it again!
Being from the Pittsburgh area, you gotta love Mean Joe and the Coke commercial.

One of my favorites right now is the one for the Visa Checkcashing card. At the Video store Charlie Sheen is paying by check, it takes so long that at the end he's Martin Sheen

But, I get a kick out of the stupid Geico one, where the lady is dancing and they are playing the love song and then you see she is dancing with the Gecko(sp?). At the end the lizard is blowing a dandelion. It is so stupid but I laugh at it every time it is on!!!

When I was young, I always said I wanted to be someone...I guess I should have been more specific!
I wish I could get my Santa to reward me like that for some cheese . . .

Tami---That's the commercial I was going to comment on. It's not Christmas until I see it. Maybe that explains why I never got in the Christmas mood this year. I never DID see it!!! I also like...."dad, are you gonna eat that pickle"? I think it's the same little girl. She is so adorable. Gosh, she's probably grown with kids of her own by now, huh? Now I feel old.
I haven't seen the Sheen commercial...would really like to see that one. LOL What a great idea!
