Anyone else planning on watching the first night of competition tonight?
Do you have any favorites?
I like Kevin Skinner, Carol Lugo, that man who sings bluesy gospel, and the five sisters who clog.
That night Kevin sang that Garth Brooks song I about fell out of my chair!!!!!!
.......... "Tell that someone that you love, just what you're thinking of, if tomorrow never comes."
OMGoodness, the emotion he sang with just knocked my socks off! I have read he is the equivalent here to what Susan Boyles was in Britian's got talent.
I was so shcked that 8 year old Ciana Pelekai did not make it and the man the swallowed light bulbs did!!!!!
The little girl, Elicia Miller is, for sure, as cute as can be and funny but it is a TALENT contest. Oh, I still like her but am surprised it was her over Ciana.
Yes I'm watching it tonight as the first 5 are cut,I'm for Kevin. But there are several good acts this year.I was dissappionted the 9 year old boy that could really play the gutiar didn't make it.

I have been watching too.....Yes i like Kevin.....He looked really sharp with his make over too. I like the basketball troup too...although it looked like one of them may have hurt his ankle after they performed. It is funny how they pick some acts but I guess they are thinking veagas as well as talent.....I loved last years winner Terry....would love to see him in a show

See Deb, how you went and got me hooked on these talent shows!!!!!!!!!!
When Kevin answered the question last night, what do you think your friends in Kentucky are thinging, he was just so humble and honest........ I bet they can't believe I am on TV and I hope I am making them proud!
I love America's Got Talent although I cannot remember names but the last show on Wed, when the judges chose the dog catching frisbee's was chosen over the guy who sings and plays piano...what the hell were they thinking...I know Peirce Morgan was stunned! Come on judges...get real, I wouldn't pay a Las Vegas fee to watch a dog catch frisbees! Wow, what a shock that was!
Everyone still watching....Yes I was shocked to at the dog winning over the singer...oh well.....doubt he will make it much farther. Last nights was good...Boy he can sing......hope he makes it in....I liked the girls dance group too although I can not imagine young girls like that doing a las vegas show every night....they were very talented for their age......

I've not been able to watch the rest of the season.
My mom recorded the lady named Barbara who sang Ave Maria and I was in teary eyed and gossebumpy within the first ten seconds!!
OMGoodness!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am not sure who will win tonight...there are a lot of really good acts.....some I think just don't belong in vegas though..like Barbara...she should be on stage but a different one.....Recycled Percussion suits the stage life in Vegas....The step tapping sisters are so good , Kevin the chicken farmer who sings is touching.....the 3 chidren singing are very good too but can they hold an audience for an entire show in vegas??? I think many of the acts in the final could have a career in show buisness....can't wait to see who wins
My all time fav is still Terry from last year though....I loved him....

It is such a hard choice but I am sticking with my "chicken catcher"! His voice and his love for his wife and kids inspires me~
The woman who sang opera was fabulous too ( and I am not an opera fan) and those 3 siblings who sang "the greatest love of all" yeaowza~
