Way to go David Cook! I have to agree with Paula they are both winners!! It was nice that Simon apologized to David Cook-wow that was a first!!! When both Davids were on stage standing next to one another it looked like older brother and younger brother. Two very nice young men who will both go far! I didn't care which one won and I'm happy for them both!! I really enjoyed last nights show......

I have a question that maybe someone can answer. I've seen David Cooks brothers on the show and heard him talk about them. Does anyone know anything about his parents?? Did I miss them on the show? -----There was this blond lady that the camera was on whenever David Cook sang. Anybody notice that? At first I thought it was his mother but one night I thought they said she was a producer on the show. She seemed to be everywhere, even when David went to his home town. She was on camera last night when he won. Just wondering if anybody knows anything about her or his parents?????

Caroline the blonde lady was his mom, (her and the brother went on stage last night after he won) the father was in the audience, he had gray recding hair and glasses (Im assuming it was his real dad, lol) but you never know. His brother was the one that had wanted to audition for Idol, and he had come along with his brother, and he ended up geting chosen, instead of the brother. I wonder if the brother will try out again next year??

Sandie, thanks for the information. Yes I saw the brothers. I hope the brother does try out again, many do. I don't know why but I thought one night they said she was a producer.
