I felt sorry for the mother too. I know they had a falling out but that doesn't mean she doesnt care and she is just trying to do the best she can. While Anna was alive she wouldn't let her mother be a part of her life but now that she is gone the mom did the right thing in stepping up and trying to make sure the baby is okay. She is the grandmother and I think Howard is wrong to tell her to keep away, she does have rights.
I am always one who will look at things in a good manner rather than skeptisim. I dont know anything about Howard K Stern to blame him or really distrust him as far as both of the deaths go. I hope that the truth comes out in the end. For that baby's sake. I also do believe that Larry is going to turn out as the father, which in the long run is probably best for the child. As you stated DeBora, he is the only one who stepped forward before anna died. And Howard was probably put on the birth certificate to keep him from his child. If Howard turned out to be behind both deaths that would be horrible, I just hate to call him a murderer unless his actually is, it's such a harsh word.
It was obvious to me that Anna was not happy with herself or her life. I never liked her show, I watched it a few times and it was so awful, embaressing really. I felt sorry for her son who clearly didnt want to be a part of it and found it embaressing too. I thought when she lost weight that things were turning around for her, and then she opened her mouth and out came slurred nonsense, I dont know what she was on or what was going on but clearly she appeared to be on drugs or drunk. That is so sad.

I don't know if Stern is a murderer or not, but I do believe it needs to be check into.

My mother and I had a falling out. But, when I was possibly going to die in 2001 and my mother sent me a card, I got all excited! However, when it was clear that I wasn't going to die, she disappeared. But, my point is that things change between people during catastorphes.

As for the legal stuff. I was taught that unless 2 people are married, a child that is conceived out of wedlock is up to the courts to decide after the death of a mother. It really doesn't matter who is listed on the birth certificate. I was also taught that if 2 people are married, then it doesn't matter who the biological father is, the married partner is legally responsible, unless he gives up his rights. So, basically, a married man is totally responsible for a child his wife conceives during the marriage, which I personally think is unfair. I mean, if a woman has a affair and gets pregnant, the hubby is stuck. I think with this DNA era, the law needs to be changed, unless I have been taught wrong.

I have been watching videos of her and she looks terrible! She was so beautiful. I really think she has had plastic surgery on her face. If I am correct, she shouldn't have touched her face as she was more beautiful before! That is jmo.

Also, I have been hearing about how the Larry guy, who have been fighting for parternity tests, hasn't known the baby and Stern has. Well, that isn'this fault. He has been fighting for months. It isn't his fault that he isn't allowed to see the baby or have the blood tests. I think if he is the father, he should see the baby and bond with her. jmo Do what is best for that child.

Maybe some of those men that are claiming to had slept with Anna Nicole are lying after all she's not her to defend herself. That poor baby's life will be a mess if some who truly loves her does not get custody!

Well, if you claim to be the father, even if you aren't, you can make money by writing a book later. jmo

I agree. I am SO glad that I have been married to the same man who fathered both of my children. I guess it could have been different.

Hey All!

Ive kinda follwed her thru all her yrs of fame! I half n half watched the Anna Nicole Show, and I too found it just embarressing and dumb. I didnt like it much. I cant believe she acted that way and it was pretty much all her "famous" life. I felt real bad for her son but what can you expect his life to be seeing his mother do it all her life. He lived life in the fast lane with her.
I would have been embarressed as well. We never have heard *that i know of* from the best friend lady that was on the show *whoever she was*

Then you have all these ppl stating they were her friends and they really werent. I cannot believe all the men that are claiming to be this babys dad!! Holy cow! I think ive heard liek 6 names already!

I hope they figure it out soon too and it is someone who will take good care of the baby!

She lived a sad sad life..

My class was told how different probate court is than other courts within the legal system in criminal and torte cases. As I watch the trial, I would really hate to have to be a witness in a probate court trial. I hope forensic psychologists don't have to become expert witnesses in those types of cases. They are so disorganized.

With the "who gets the body" stuff aside, the guy named Larry who has been asking for paternity BEFORE her death seems to have the most standing in the case of paternity. The child may be several months old, but that isn't the fault of the possible biological father who has been requesting his parentage since she was 1 month of age. I think the sooner a parternity can be established, the better it will be for the child. Even if Anna was alive, the biological father has rights once she is born. Legally, it doesn't matter what the mother wants, if the father is fit, he has every right to be a part of her life. jmo

Felicia, it IS very interesting. It is difficult, but interesing. Yesterday we started on the subject of psychological tests used in the legal system. I was a bit shocked that the Rorschach test (ink blot) is still so widely used. Plus, it is more indepth than I thought it was. It is really interesting.

As for Anna Nicole, I cannot help but wonder why her mental state hasn't been considered more in depth. She had a serious drug and alcohol problem, which I am sure will come out during the toxicology results. Therefore, I would doubt her state of mind during the time she wrote her will, which the original has been lost. If she wasn't of sound mind, wasn't married, and wasn't a legal citizen of another country, then her body should go to the next of kin. However, if I were her mother, I would find a way to have her buried near Monroe. I think she needs to be protected from grave robbers at this point. But, that is just my opinion. I don't think the paternity suit has anything to do with the body, but again, that is only my opinion. I divorce cases, the biological parent may get the children, but the dead parent goes elsewhere. When the child is old enough, she would be able to visit her mother's grave. Either way, this case is become a circus.
