Well, his name on the show is Gregory House, but the name is also a play on Sherlock Holmes ('homes-house') because his character is loosely based on the fabled detective. (I don't read everything I can find about House, do I?) LOL. Anyhow, how about last night's episode, huh? I think Dr. Cuddy is in love........! Did anyone see this coming? And the previews to the season finale blew my mind. I can't wait!
Yeah, I would rather have a snarky, brilliant doctor than a touchy-feely doc who misdiagnoses me. I actually kind of like snarky guys, as my husband is one in spades. (Well, he is really nice to me, so I guess that makes a difference, LOL) He reminds me a lot of House, which is another reason I love the show, it's so...familiar! So has anyone out there ever seen Hugh Laurie in the Jeeves & Wooster tv series from Britain? You can find them in public libraries sometimes. It's excellent, and really funny, set in the roaring 20's. I highly recommend it!
I personally think Cuddy is in love with House, because the last episode it was implied that she wanted to ask him to be the donor for the baby she's wants...but she chickened out. She seems to be the only one that can match him as far as snarky dialogue, so I think this may be a good match!
Yes, it was excellent! But holy crap, it was gory! And I didn't figure out until the end (from my hubby, no less) that it was ALL a hallucination. Man. I haven't had that much fun watching TV in a long time, though. The way they left it I have no idea what's going to happen next season! Good thing they're going to have reruns, it's going to be a long summer!
I have a friend that didn't get to watch it this season, will have to have her tape the back to back shows so she can catch up. What a great season finale!!!! We were glued to the set. Can hardly wait till fall myself!
