The tryouts were from Washington. There were a couple of ones that sounded good. Its too early to remember their names! This will be the second season I have tuned in. Sure wish I would of caught the second year with Clay. I now own both his cds he is so talented.

Im not too sure what night Kim. I actually got dh to watch it with me(he hates it) the "Somewhere over the Rainbow" girl cracked us both up!!!! Simon and his expessions are funny too. Ya gotta give the bad ones credit for facing up to him though,LOL
Anyone see the show that was on right after Idol (same channel) Point Pleasant I watched it and it looks pretty interesting. Its on again tonight.

I am a sucker for these reality shows (amazing race is my fav). I watched Idol for this week and I am still amazed at how many awful singers they are able to bring out!! And some just plain weird....like the girl with multiple personalities!!!! I love to hear what the judges have to say and it was fun watching them try and suppress thier laughter at some. I like it when they are in hollywood and I can start to remember some of the names. Canadian Idol will be starting soon too, last season the top 3 all deserved recording contracts, but I was partial to Kalam Porter who won.

Point Pleasant I watched it too and thought it was pretty good. I love the OC too but not sure why Point Pleasant is taking North shores place oh well. What would the idol be without Simon lol hug kim

I thought the singing teacher and her student that tried out werent very good at all, I dont even think the teacher deserved to win but the "outburst of cryin" when her student didnt get it was a bit much, she acted like he died or something and he just took it in stride. I have a hard time remembering them all, I like it bette when it gets down to not too many and then it gets interesting,I dont now how they can sit there and see one after another of some of the "bad" ones!
Yes Kim, I like OC too, it was good last night, and so was Point Pleasant , what the critics said about it was " a cross between the Omen and the OC!!!

We have a calmer version of Simon and we have 4 judges instead of the 3. There is not as much glitz as the American version but I still really like it!
