Did anyone else watch the first show of the new season yesterday??

Thoughts?

Comments??

I didn't figure that Rana would move with the show. Her hometown is Chicago, she & her Dad co-own a business there and she originally applied to be a cast member instead of a coach.

What do y'all think of Rana's replacement??

I am soooo glad that the new season is starting!!!

Okay, so I STILL don't know who Chloe's father is.

But, I DO know who Towanda is. I kept thinking that she looked familiar but never dreamed that she is who she is!!!

That Deborah is starting to get on my nerves!!!

Good morning!!! I just found this thread. I love this show!! I started watching it halfway through the first season. I enjoyed catching up over the summer.

I've seen all the new episodes. I agree that Deborah is somewhat annoying. I did think it was funny that they put the two oldest, biggest and bossiest women with the most clothes in the tiniest room with the smallest closet. Kim was cracking me up trying to figure out how to get that big master bedroom. She doesn't seem to be very appreciative of the opportunity she's been given!!!

I'm so glad the Josie came back with Chloe. That is a beautiful baby!!!

Who's your favorite???

Oh, and Chloe's father is Josie's best friend - not Jonathan and not the one-night stand.

You know there's gotta be a learning experience in there somewhere for both of them. I'd love to see how they "split" that tiny closet! I'd bet that Kim asked Towanda and Josie to use some of their HUGE closet space.

I was hoping that Josie would come back too. I agree, Chloe is just too precious!! I'm glad that Josie is getting the help/support that she needs to learn to be a good single parent.

I wonder what happened with Leah??? I didn't think she'd come back but I did think they would do a "Where is Leah Now" segment to update her story.

I have not yet formed a "favorite"...but I will! I do know that Deborah is my LEAST favorite right now!! I don't like how she has to make everything about her.

Did you see Friday's show and the previews of next week's events? If so, what do you think will happen with Deborah....will she stay? Will she come clean with Rhonda??? I don't want to say too much and ruin it for you if you did not see Friday's show or have it taped and have not yet seen it.

What time does it come on where you live? I watch it at 9:00 a.m. CST.

Yes, I saw it Friday. I do think Deborah will tell Rhonda, maybe not right away, but she will.

Yep, you're right about the learning experience. They were paired up that way for a reason. And this season they're not allowed to change rooms just because they want to.

I have to say that I really think the help they'll be getting is alot more professional than last season. Last time was common sense, this season they seem to be delving a lot deeper.

I love Ivanla (sp???) but I miss Rana, too. I was shocked to hear that Rhonda had such tragedy in her family!!! No wonder she's so compassionate!!!

Did Leah graduate or did she just leave to go home?? I can't remember. I liked here, though.

They replayed the first season here, but ended up skipping some right in the middle. PJ wasn't in any of the summer reruns and neither was Leah. Christine got cut out altogheter, too. I didn't care for her at all. I got so tired of anyone saying how beautiful she was. She always said she was so used to men hitting on her cause she's so pretty. Yipes - she's not ugly, but geeez, I didn't think she was any more attractive than most people I see. And she had the biggest feet!!!! hahaha

The show got moved to a different station this season and it doesn't come on til 3 p.m. I liked watching it at 9, but I'm getting used to the new time.

I love this show. It comes on at 1pm PST. I started watching the show in the middle of the first group of women. I didn't think that I was going to watch the summer series because I was thinking that it would be all reruns for me but I started watching anyway and realized that I hadn't seen a lot of it. I couldn't believe how Andy was at first. Everyone hated her and now look at how close they all are. I think that Andy is my favorite out of all so far.

At the beginning of this season my least favorite person was Kim with her better than anyone attitude but now I see that she is letting herself be vulnerable with everyone and I'm starting to not dislike her quite so much.

I don't know who my favorite this season is yet. Who was your favorite in the first season? Who did you dislike the most in the first season?

I disliked Rain the most I think but there were some close seconds. I never liked Nyanza and PJ drove me crazy with her spoiled ways. And the whole leg thing with PJ made me crazy because if she had just seen a doctor in the first place it wouldn't have gotten that bad.

One thing that kind of caught me off guard this last week is when I saw Sinae carrying Chloe especially around the stairs. I know she can see a little bit but I just thought that was taking a risk that I, personally, wouldn't want to take. Just my opinion though. And I'm am not against Sinae. She seems very sweet and I think that it is cool that she doesn't want her being blind to stop her from anything.

I'm looking forward to chatting with you all about this!

I hate to say this but I think all of or most of the changes on the show (except for Rana leaving) are happening because the main creator of the show passed away from breast cancer and now someone else is in charge.

Okay, did she reveal more this season and I somehow missed it? I remember her revealing something to Andy last season but am to admit that I don't remember it all very clearly.

She did not graduate. She went home for a "trial run". She was supposed to return for a graduation but my gut told me then that she wouldn't. She didn't seem to care about actually "graduating" after she reached her goal.

It replayed here too but I didn't watch it faithfully as I do the original shows.....in fact I had not even noticed that they left PJ & Christine out.

My favorite last season was definitely Andy. My least favorite was Nyanza with Kimberlyn coming in a close second. Nyanza seemed to be so full of herself and she seemed to "look down" on the other houseguests. When she did that fundraiser for Cassie, she ended up making it seem all about her....like "Look at me...Look at how wonderful I am for doing this for Cassie". I didn't like Kimberlyn because she never really even tried to get to know the other houseguests like she should have. She was still tied to her mother's apron strings!!

Amy's hair color almost drove me crazy!!!

Rain was loud & forceful at times but to me she was a good person. I really admired her for going into the house for the reason that she did. You could tell that she really loved her daughters and wanted to do right by them. I also liked the way she lit into Josie when Josie was trying to leave the house.

That bothers me too. I can see letting her carry/hold Chloe but not while going up or down the stairs, not on the terrace
and not near the pool. At least not yet......maybe after
she has learned some special skills and such.

Another thing that really ticked me off was when Deborah was talking to her daughter on the phone about calling somewhere for some information and pretending to be her. I can not believe that she talked to her daughter like that!!

Oh, I can't wait until tomorrow's show!!!

What Rhonda said the other day was that her father had killed her mother and then committed suicide. She witnessed it.

I agree that the steps in that house could cause some problems. It looks like you open the front door and risk falling right down that first set of stairs. I was surprised to see Sinse carrying Chloe down the stairs, too.

Looks like a huge, huge house. We're only seeing a portion of it. I can't believe it's only got three bedrooms and that one of them is soooooooo small.

I'm looking forward to tomorrow's show, too.
