atlanta race weekend

I live only 6 miles from the atlanta motor racetrack. I love raceweekend here. They have alot of the race cars at the shopping centers. you meet a lot of nice people. We used to go when were first married and no kids. Now it si so expensive to go. They built alot of the condos around the track. My son has afriend that works there. He has met alot of the drivers. They are really friendly. The noise is unbelievable, so we sit at home and watch. I can here the cars when they are doing time trials. the race here is March 10.

Sounds like fun ! I would love the chance to meet some of the drivers and to see what they are really like. My Dh would love the chance to drive one of the cars !!

From what Ive heard, we have the one of the best seats in the house right in front of the tv. I can only imagine the prices there, Is bad enough around here !!

DH wants a subscription to Winston Cup Scene but its $60.00!!

His birthday is in April so I might try to save up for it by then, we'll see.

I can relate to the noise somewhat, we live right in front of a county airport and the small planes & jets are going in and out all of the time. The only really bad time is when one of the private jets are taking off at 6:00am and it wakes up my son.

Should be another good race this wekend !!! Before you know it, the noise will be buzzing in your area too.....isnt time just flying by these days ????
