blushing Keep Warm in Pa

Hi, hope everyone had a beautiful Christmas, and that the New Year has started out well.

I sort of dread this time of year, since I would rather be a bear and go into hybernation until spring arrives.

Since I live in western Pa. I guess we really have lucked out with all of the warning for the ice, freezing rain and snow. We live about 55 miles east of Pittsburgh, and tonight we only had a light dusting of snow, everything else was just rain. But I'm sure since it's on 29 deg. tonight that things will be getting icy out. I'm just glad to be in the house and warm and just taking it easy. Blessings to everyone in this New Year. Donna

I am in Lower Bucks County and I can understand the feeling of wanting to hybernate. I have Epstein Barr and winters used to be horrible for me. Luckily since I got involved with Girl Scouts we have cookie sales from mid January to the beginning of March and keeping busy with that helps me some.

But just think now that it is almost the end of March hopefully spring weather will be here soon.

Since Spring is here and slowly the weather is improving with a little sun and things starting to grow in Pa. this sure does make everyone feel better; esp. to be able to go outside with out freezing just to get some fresh air. Gee, they are calling for in the upper 50's this coming week around Western Pa. this is great. I just can't wait to go out and start planting my garden once more, this is what I like about spring time most of all. It makes me fell so alive again, and also give me a chance to get away form some housework that I have been doing all winter. Have a Beautiful Easter. Donna

Hi eddona and Cheryl! I live in central PA and only just now am looking at the PA posts! I too will be glad to see more 50 degree days.

Pinkie Winky Hello..I'm in Pa also

Hello all...
I live in Reading Pa...actually Exeter. It's so nice to see a couple of other people from the Pa area. I have a girlfriend who just bought a house in Bensalem...Maltese Ct? Does that sound familiar? This weather has to go. Are we all in agreement with that?
I'm looking forward to talking with you all.
Mindy

Hi Everyone! I'm from Beaver County in Pa. --just relocated to NC now.

eddonna, Where about do you live?

I still love my Steelers though!!!

I miss home a great deal sometimes.

I not missing the really cold weather there right now--it's really cold here today too, though.
