I live in Maine

There aren't many posts here from Mainers. I am in the Bangor area and have lived here many years - having grown up in MA. I really do like it here, except for maybe January and February, but we seem to be able to get through that too. Right now we are entering into one of the prettiest times of the year, with the foliage and crisp days. There always seems to be some lovely spot I have never seen before. Last weekend we went to see Megunticook Lake in Camden - and it is gorgeous - also checked out Camden's little beach, Laite beach. I never knew it was there after going to that area many times. There must have been over 50 sailboats in the harbor that day. Hope to see more posts from "Mainers"

Newdaawn, I live in NH now but grew up in Maine. My brothers and most of my extended family still live in Maine so I go there often (am only an hour and a half away from my hometown). I am actually going to Maine this weekend. We also have two camps in Maine - a cottage on Forest Lake in Gray, Maine and a more rustic camp in Bethel, Maine. It is nice to meet someone else from Maine on here!!!

I grew up in Maine lived there for 51 years. I lived in Mechanic Falls until I was 2 then we moved to Sunday River, then back to Mechanic Falls until I was 14.I've lived in,Westbrook, Old Orchard and Sebago Lake.As you can see I've been all over Maine and I owned a camp in T5R9.

Haleys grandmom, we have a camp in Bethel right near the Sunday River ski area. My dh is there this weekend. It beautiful country up there but so much more populated then when I was a kid.
