I bought some honey crisp apples last week along with some of the lowfat caramel apple dip! YUM!
Ruby red grapefruits are THE best!!!!!

Martie, isn't it your husband who sings? Maybe he would come sing karaoke for us.
I hope you had a nice visit with your parents.

When you all mop the kitchen floor do you use a mop or get on your hands and knees?
I just mopped with my new mop (nothing like getting excited over a new mop...pitiful, LOL!!) Truth is, the floor looks better when i clean it on my hands and knnes.
My knees hurt after mopping though.........

hugs, train

Cookies sound good. I need to make some cakes today or tomorrow for a cake walk on Saturday. Sandi's jazz band is playing two sets at a fall festival and they asked the band to contribute to the cake walk. In return for playing and bringing cakes, they are making a donation towards the band for music. This is the 3rd or 4th year they have done this. In the past instead of cakes though our band has run the concessions. This sounds like a lot less work for the parents in the long run. LOL!

If you guys will, pray for my Sandi. The crud seems to like her this year. She's on round two with this horrible cough which makes it difficult to play her sax. We really need her to be able to play on Saturday!

We had the most gorgeous day yesterday. Today rain is supposed to move back in and hang around for a few days. Hoper you are having a beautiful day wherever you are!

Gosh hope that caugh does not turn into something really bad I felt crappy yesterday but some better today. Never even went out on porch yesterday and made sure Steven stayed over there just in case I might be getting sick. I get my flu shot the 23rd of next month.
Will pray for Sandi and all cakes to turn out great

Think we finally kicked whatever Sandi had to the curb. Today our church is having a fall festival. Sarah made some old fashioned potato candy for it so I've bagged it up and will head out in a few minutes to drop it off.

Sarah is dog sitting this weekend. Some people are SO much more into their pets than I am. To stay in their house and keep the dog company and fed 3 days she got well over $100! Nice gig!

Sandi is going to her best friend's house this afternoon for party adn then spend the night and go to church with them. Not sure what time tomorrow we'll get her back Will be strange to have only daughters 2 and 4 here toinght. LOL!

Well, need to get them up and moving! Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
