Our weather is typical of Michigan...unpredictable!
We have been having REALLY hot weather lately, but as I type this we are waiting patiently for the thunderstorms to start.
I am a single mom who works full-time. I love crafts, decorating, reading, NASCAR (and this addictive website !)
We used to get LOTS of snow...I have pics from 1976 when the snow was over the top of our cars. That hasn't happened in the last 10 years though. I like the snow, but only in the winter months-duh- Mother nature pulled a nasty trick and gave us a little snow just last month!
I love Michigan ! there is only one other state I would even consider moving to and that is N. Carolina, but I grew up here and will probably grow old here.
Hi all! I live in Yale (in the thumb). The weather? Ha! I take my cues from looking out the window lol! It's hot and muggy right now--we're waiting for the t'storms, too.
I'm looking forward to getting to know you all. I'm married with two ds's. We just moved into our first home last summer, and I now enjoy gardening--watching my flowers grow is so much fun! I play in the handbell choir in my church. I also enjoy yardsaling(is that a word?).
Hi to all you all, I live in Bay City. Thats right in the crook of the thumb and the mitten. Weather is hot today and waiting for the T'storms to hit.
I have lived here all my life, I have a dh, ds,23 and a dd,21 on the 14th of this month. Party at our house!
Can't wait to meet up with you in the chat room, see ya soon

Hi All! My name is Leigh Ann and I live across the St. Clair River from some of you in Sarnia, Ontario. I have two children, ds 4 1/2 and dd 3 1/2 (they are 13 1/2months apart).
I have spent many years (25) up in the thumb area, mostly Port Austin. What a great little town with friendly people. I love Frankenmouth too (sp? on the spelling its been awhile). Can't say I have really been up in the northern part of the state but I did go by Maciknaw Island on the way up to the Soo (Canadian side) one year.
When you were talking about your weather you can basically say the same about mine. It was hot humid and hazy this weekend and today alittle cooler. Who knows what the summer will be like.
I would love to chat with my neighbours across the pond. Have a great night all.
Hi Leigh! I live pretty close to Sarnia--Yale is about 25 miles from Port Huron, where the Blue Water Bridge is. I love Canada, it's a beautiful country!
This time, the theme is going to be autumn/Halloween so your stories need to use smilies to express as many words as possible and your story should be focused on anything that has to do with autumn or Halloween.
Members will be allowed to submit one story pertaining to a Halloween story and one story pertaining to an autumn story. Please click here to enter!
