Wow did everyone's GA porch list come out messed up? It was suppose to be in two columns with everyone's name and address seperate. I tried sending it as a paperclip in word but that didn't seem to work so then I went to mail and typed two seperate columns out with the info but it seems that some of them or maybe everyones when they open the mail were just all scrambled together. If yours didn't work please let me know and I will snail mail you a copy that I printed. I'm really sorry I can't get it to work by e-mail. So either post on here or PM me or even send me an e-mail and I will get one in the snail mail to you.
No rain here today, just nice fall weather. Stacey glad the home visit went well.
I agree Pag, I watch Lifetime movies all the time. I really love that channel.
Sharon have you heard from your family and friends yet? Are they all right? Hope they didn't get any damage and all were safe. Parts of Florida looked really bad.
Don't work to hard tomorrow Joyce.
navy and Pag just toss a fishing line out in your yards and see what you catch.

Hello everyone, Sorry it took me so long to get my addy to mouse. Sometimes it seems I never have time to get on the computer and if I do it is for a quick minute to check my email!
But I think about yall lots and remember you in my prayers
Kimmyo,
Sorry about your vacation plans not working and about the braces too.
Mouse, Thanks for the list, I thought it was great. I didn't even notice anything was wrong with it the first time! Thanks for your
Pag and navywife, hope you all don't get anymore rain at least until your rivers and puddles go away. Pag, when you get finished with your house- you need to come see me!! I love hostas- I wonder if it is too hot to grow them down here. I have planted bulbs but they didn't come up.
Joyce, that is great you two can eat for 2 wks for $50. I'll have to conme see how you do it. I am a bargain shopper and all but never have done it on that.
Elizabeth, I am going to make that Chicken salad this wk. sounds yummy
Hey Stacey! ARe yall okay? We thought we were going to get it worse than we did. The wind changed and it missed us. Glad your visit went well. Glad it missed your parents.
Sharon, Have you heard anything about your friends? Let us know.
Doris, are you okay?
Hey Jiggly and Shanti!!!! Does anyone hear from Christy anymore?
Things are okay here, a bit stressful. STeve is in the football season again. Out Friday night scrimmage was cancelled bc of Charly. His team is preseason ranked as 3# in the state. I am busy organizing PTO stuff. I have had alot of personal things on my mind lately. I could use any prayers you could give.
Thanks yall. I was just telling a friend about you. You are the best!!!!
Hey linnea, haven't heard from Christy in a LONG time. Last time or two I tried to send her mail it got returned. I have wondered often how her health is doing and what happened to her. Does anyone have the web site she use to run? Maybe we could get in touch with her that way and just see how she is doing. I haven't talked to rose in a long time either, I e-mail her jokes from time to time but I am sure she is probably busy as ever this time of year with their garden. Maybe I will try and e-mail her today. You know you have my prayers always friend and I know you will come up with the right answers for the things you are pondering. You know we're here to listen and give advice when we can. I'm glad the winds missed you.
Doris did ya'll survive ok? Hope it totally missed ya'll also. If you get a chance pop in and let us know how ya'll faired. I wouldn't have let my son go play football down there either, you sure don't want them being sick for 2 or 3 weeks senior year.
Did you make church today Pag?
Have a good day all. Got to go cook something for dinner and finish the
Mouse== Yes made it to church today. Last Sunday we were suppose to have one of our Bishops come and serve us BUT he was with the young people slipped some how and broke his leg so could not come BUT will be here next Sunday God willing. So now have to come up with a SIMPLE desert with what ever I have on hand. It will be over in Norfolk.
HMMMMM!!!! Candy are you reading this? Perhaps you could find your way to the church (join us too if you would like to) and we could meet there. Would not be a long visit (unless you stay for service and Fellowship afterwards and YES you would be most welcomed) Do you know where Leafwood St is in Norfolk? It is not too far from the Airport. PM me on this if you think it is possible.
Hosta's I thought they pretty much grew anywhere. Perhaps you planted them at the wrong time. These that I have been messing with I have had here since we moved here in Aug of '96. I just hope I don't lose any of them. We have small variety and the larger (wider and taller) ones.
Well, Judy just brought me up a bit of the hash from yesterday made from the turkey breast I had day before. Yummy. Bye for now and oh yes Charley only brought LOTS of rain to us no damage around here nor lights out that I know of.

Just checking in very briefly...I'm off to take Grey to school in a few short minutes, then waiting on my sister and family (they're here from Maryland visiting). After that, we're off to the CNN Center for a tour.
Been super, super busy this week.We went to White Water yesterday. Got there at 10am, left at 6pm. We wore ourselves OUT. I was asleep before 10 pm, which is NOT anywhere close to normal for me.
Oh, well. I'm off! Have a happy rest of the week, everybody!

Thanks all for the concern. We made it . As a matter of fact it didn't rain here until late Saturday night. For those who lost life and property you have my sympathy. We were extrememly fortunate to escape the wrath of Charley.
As for Sr pictures, it was totally different for my daughter. She went in and took the drape thingy pictures. She didn't like those but we needed on for the yearbook, so we went to Olan Mills (when they had a studio) and took the pictures over. They came out great and we got like 4-5 poses and a lot of pics for like $100.00. David said he wanted a memory book. He even went and got a disposable cameral this morning to take pictures for the book. He said "This is the first day of my SR year so I need memories." Go figure. He's a social kid.
Shanti, I used to work only a few blocks from the CNN center - we'd catch the train and have lunch there every few weeks.
The weekend of the 26th we are going to the International Federation of Woodworking show at the Ga Congress Center. That is the 8th wonder of the world as far as I'm concerned! They have absolutely huge machines there that - no joke! - you load rough lumber into one end and you get a sofa (or dresser, or table, or chair, or bed, or whatever) out the other end! Makes you wonder why furniture costs so much? Well the machines alone cost the manufacturers over 250,000$$!! Then you still have to put the finish on the parts that will show.
It is a real WOWZER for me. The ol' curmudgeon's hip are bothering him so much that I'm going to rent an electric cart for him. We'll be there Friday, Sat and (possibly) Sun.
Hey, Mouse, I haven't received the list, yet! Do I need to send you my e-mail addy again??

Hey all!
I finally talked with friends and family this morning. Where I lived was in the direct path of the storm. From what I hear a lot of areas are devastated. All are fine, a little shaken still, a lot of stuff damaged or destroyed, but the most important is that the people are all right. Thank you for your prayers. I know that they all appreciate them, as do I.
Nestor's sister and family are here for the week. It's been quite a while since I've been around 11 and 12 year olds. It doesn't help that the parents are divorcing and there is no discipline. Everybody wants attention, and it's up to us to give it to them.
Other than that, all is well. I'm cooking for an army, the weather is nice and every so often I escape to the bathroom for a little peace and quiet.
Mouse - thanks for the list. Mine came out fine.
I'll be checking in every so often. Be good!
Sharon
