Good morning all, thanks Martie for the pix of Skylar cute little girl and I love balloons too. Everytime Gina gets any for any reason Steven wants them lol.
Our snow is almost gone and sure hope we don't get anymore. February is a bad month period cold temps/snow but I sure hope no more snow. I have not been out in it at all, other than to go on porch 2 times to take pix first of Steven/Adam then next time Adam/Sam. Not getting this ole gal out in it. It was pretty coming down tho' have to admit that and pretty on the trees.
More later friends oh it is warm here today too in 60's. God bless

I haven't posted in a while but all is well. Christmas was almost good. This is the first Christmas that I haven't spent w/ my daughter in all of her 21 years. She had to work Friday and Sunday so we missed her a lot.
Martie, I'm glad to see Skylar home. I know it was scary for everyone.
Stacie you and the kids will be alright, I know it can be hard w/ your husband leaving but the sooner he leaves the sooner he can come back.
Happy New Year to each and everyone of the GA Porch Gang. Our snow is almost gone, Steven had his fill of it and refused to go out at all yesterday lol. Did not hurt my feelings at least I knew where he was and that he was warm and safe. Both boys went out for a bit awhile ago but back in. It is warmer out there nearly 60+.
I want to cook something but don't know what. Would like to get out of this house too for couple hours but can't and would like to get some munchies for tomorrow nite. Oh well can't so will shut up lol.
God bless all and Doris say hi to my beloved Savannah for me

Hey, y'all, another nice day in the 'hood...62 degrees, and basically sunny all day.
Kelly, I have to work New Year's Eve and New Year's Day both...get off at 9pm, so it could be worse. I could be working third shift and dealing with the drunks...yuck. Need to get some information from you, if possible, ok? Do you happen to know if CVS sells the heavy-duty support hose, the kind that are black and look like they're made from elastic? And very expensive? Thomas Drugs in Austell sells them for about $26 a pair, but they don't carry my size...I need a 4X. Heck, never mind, I guess I can go into their website and look, can't I?...duh. I'm glad your FIL is feeling better, and the new furnace could have been just waht the doctor ordered. His symptoms also sound like carbon monoxide poisoning...was it an old gas furnace? Doesn't really matter now, tho, as long as he's getting better.
Martie, thanks for the information about the diabetes. I am SO sorry that she'll be inulin dependent from now on, tho. I was hoping that it could eventually be controlled by diet. Poor little girl. That was an awfully cute picture of her peeking out from all those balloons, lol.
Pag, I sure hope someone gets out and gets you some munchies...I HATE when there's no munchie stuff in the house, even if I've got lots and lots of meal stuff. Sometimes...ok, most of the time, lol...I don't feel like cooking, I just want to EAT....NOW...lol...and muchie stuff sure comes in handy.
Here's wishing each and every one of you on the Front Porch Gang a safe and happy New Year's!!! 2005 has got to be better than 2004, you'll see, it really will be a good year!!! God bless.

Martie glad to see everything coming together for you and your family. Skylar is cute as a bug under all those balloons!
Stacie hang in there girlfriend! DON"T KILL THE LANDLORD!!!! But be tough and stand your ground.
Pag I sure hope you get some munchies!! New Years eve is absolutely no fun without food!!!!
Joyce I hope you don't have to work too hard and glad you don't have to work third and deal with the drunks ( I know a few of them hehehe and they can be a pill!).
kelly...wow on the 75% off wish I had known about that. I might sneak over there and see if they have any scraps left to scrounge!
Tonight Johnny and I are taking the boys out to an early dinner probably Ryans and then he and I are going to a party at my bosses house. We don't drink and drive so we will be staying at a hotel thats a couple blocks from her house because we live 45 minutes from her!
I have been going to Weight Watchers since October and have been doing fairly well. I have lost 16 lbs. I even managed to lose weight over Thanksgiving but gained 1 lb over xmas. But thats a whole lot better than I thought it would be. So I bought a new pair of black pants (1 size smaller than last year yeah) and I have a shiny silver sequins shirt to wear. I love dressing up for New Years Eve. Found the pants and a new pair of dangly earings for 50% off at Goodys after xmas sale! I am thinking about joining Curves in January to help with my weight loss. We will see if my budget can swing it.
I am trying to get some pictures to post of the new house but I can never get them to post on this board. So I am trying to figure out a way to post them somewhere on the web where you guys could go to view them. We haven't done any work on it lately but thats ok...I am patient. Besides the longer it takes its just that much longer til I have to make those HUGE mortgage payments!! LOL
Well I hope each and everyone of you has a very safe and very Happy New Year! And if I don't pop back in today I will see you all NEXT YEAR!!!! WOOHOO!!! 2005!!!!
Happy New Year one and all, May God bless this year for you. '04 has been both a good and a sad year for me. With losing Butch but also the birth of dear little Christina Marie.
I will get some munchies Kimmyo thanks for caring. God bless all

Kim, check out http://www.ofoto.com where you can upload a bunch and it's all free. I found that to post my photos here I have to open them in PSP and resize them. It's really simple but if you don't have a program to do it with, then Ofoto is a great online album. My daughters also like photobucket but I've never been on that one.
Hope you are having fun at your party. We are staying home - had bbq for dinner and the girls are watching Aladdin right now and eating . Sandi got the DVD for Christmas.
I ran to CVS about an hour ago with my SIL because I needed the alcohol prep pads for the insulin shots. I bought the next to the last box of those. I saw they still had some Christmas stuff on sale but since my SIL was with me and we were in a bit of a hurry, I didn't even walk down that aisle.
I think I'm going to go work on a cross-stitch project or a baby blanket I need to get finished. I have 3 to finish before the end of January and another 2 or 3 by the first of March. YIKES! I should have taken those up to the hospital last weekend when I was sitting for hours on end. I did work on the cross stitch though and finished my mom's gift and started on one set of the pillowcases for my sisters.
Hope you all have a wonderful New Year's and don't too hard!!

Went to the New Year's Eve party that I posted about earlier. Had a blast!!! Many old friends were there and we had a great time. Counted down the New Year with champagne but not too much. I don't like to have a headache the next day.
It is a gorgeous day today. 65 degrees. Not too bad for Jan.1st!! I know it won't last but I'll take all the days like this that I can get.
Picked DS up from his grandmothers and went to eat breakfast at IHOP this morning. I love their pancakes. Then went to Wal-Mart for major household and grocery shopping. We were out of all of the staples of life around here. Seems like all I have been buying lately has been party and holiday food ,not real food.
Martie...thanks for the info on diabetes. The signs are not that obvious if you don't know what to look for. My son is a big drinker of water and stuff anyway and like you I have no idea how many times a day he goes to the bathroom.
I am trying to decide which cross-stitch project to start myself. Got 2 new ones for Christmas. Should be un-decorating my house
but maybe tomorrow.
Joyce...don't know about the support hose. We do care some but I don't know about the kind you mentioned. I will keep my eyes open. If we do, I'll be sure to watch for them to go on sale.
FIL's heat/ac unit was not gas it was electric. We think it was the mold and mildew that was bothering him.
To each and every one of you, I wish you and your families a healthy and happy New Year.
Kelly
