Just a very brief 'hello' for those who remember me, and for those that don't. LOL. I haven't posted in a long, long time, so Martie was kind enough to send me a link...Hopefully I'll be better now.

Anyway, today is jam packed, and the kids are acting...well, like kids. :P

Bye!

Patti, don't feel bad. I barely remembered "Mom2Two". LOL. I couldn't remember my password at all. It's just pure, dumb luck that I kept getting the familycorner emails.

Have a rest of the day.

Good morning ladies
Thank you all for your prayers and concern for me and my car and job problems. Ya'll's upeat attitude gives me hope in a hopeless situation.
Martie...my car is a 2000 Hyundaii Accent. Any help from your dh is very much appreciated. My dh thinks its something electronic and he doesn't know much about that.
I'm exhausted just listening to your busy hectic day. Slow down and take a breather once in a while..lol

Mouse...so glad to see you again and glad you guys found a new house. I bet you glad to be closer to people and civilization too...lol
Count me in on your cookout(of course I may have to hitchhike..lol) I'll bring the potato salad
Good luck in your new house ..its sounds so roomy You sound excited and happier.

The only bright spot is that my supervisor told me I will always have a job there whenever I need to come back. She is a great lady and the best boss I have ever had. We keep in contact every week she has my home number and I have hers. I have been working at the hotel for 4 yrs and I loved what I did and all my co workers were great. We are all family over there.
Don't worry about me ladies...God is gonna see me through this trial.. He has never failed me yet...My faith has not wavered once and never will.
Well gotta go ..talk to ya'll soon
Love and Peace
Debbie
Have a great week

Stacey sorry you are confused. We found out the people that own the house I moved into (2 nites/days) are into drugs big time and had not paid several bills connected with the house thus I could not stay there not safe. I was not so much worried about the owners themselves as with the ones they associate with. Especially leaving Judy there alone. She can be left alone if the conditions are right and over there they for sure were not. So back at Wharf Row stairs and all.

Morning, everyone. I hope your day is starting out well...

I'm still in 'recovery' from my big date last night. Mike and I went to The Fox in downtown Atlanta to listen to the Wiener Mozart Orchestra play for the 250th anniversary of Mozart. It was incredible. He even bought me an evening gown (I've never owned one of those before). I swear that I felt like Cinderella at the ball. Martie's two oldest daughters baby-sat our boys, so I knew that they were in very safe hands and could enjoy myself thoroughly without worrying...which is always a factor when you've got kids...

Patti, I'm not 100% sure what you're going through, but I sure am glad you're not in a place that's unsafe.

Martie, I'm not surprised at all the running around you do...I'm just surprised that you somehow find the energy to do it all! You are my home-schooling hero

Well, I'm off again... Have a blessed day, everyone! Be safe, be warm, be dry!

Thanks Stacey so are we. 3 of my neighbors are really glad we are back here too and they have a good relationship with Judy which is important to me. Once things settle down here to a mild roar I hope to get her re-evaluated and be able to go to the Sheltered Workshop at least a couple days a week. Anymore than that I can not afford the "cost" of her getting to and from Williamsburg where the "shop" is. But it will give her something to look forward to and "make" a bit of $$. Nuff on all that.
Take care all and Joyce don't work to hard

Hi everyone,
We made it back from FL late Wed. night and I had to go to work Thurs. and today. Whew! This is the first chance I've had to catch my breathe. We had a good time. Very relaxing. Sat around the pool and walked on the beach even managed to read an entire book. The wind was a little brisk but the sun was very nice.

Trying to get caught up on the thread. Seems like there is lots going on.

Patti...glad you and your family are back where you feel safe.

Mouse...congrats on finding a house you like so much. It sounds wonderful. Yes, to the GA porch cookout. I'll bring the baked beans.

Shanti...your night out sounds wonderful!

Funny so many should mention vehicle problems. Took mine to the shop today for some preventative maintenance today. New brakes, timing belt replaced and some other junk. $800 to fix things that weren't really torn up. Go figure. Anyway, I hope this car lasts me a loooooooooong time. Bought it brand new. A 1999 Honda CRV. It is paid for which makes it priceless to me!

I'll check back later to see what is going on with everyone. Have a good weekend.

Hugs,
Kelly
