| Sunscreen Tip~
Just a reminder for those of you that may be in the sun over the Memorial Day weekend and beyond...For the initial application, sunscreen should always be applied at least 30 minutes before you are exposed to the sun. This allows the product to bind to your skin. Be generous and ensure you apply to all skin that will be exposed.
Additionally, if you are just starting to try and actually tan, start out with a very strong SPF of 50 or more. You can decrease as needed. Example - my mother started out at 50 SPF and now that she has a base, she uses 15-30. I am using 4 SPF. And, always re-apply should you get wet or sweat.
No one likes a sun burn. Heed the pre-sun tip and you won't burn.
J~
PS - I always recommend a hat and sunglasses - even in the pool or lake.
