FC running really slow

I finally can get into FC after it was down for the weekend. The only problem I see so far is it is running really slow. I click on a thread and I get "waiting for family corner"; I have closed it up and tried other places and not having the same problem anywhere else. So is FC having another problem as I don't think it is my computer since it isn't happening anywhere else?

Trying to get things to send to Sharon for the next newsletter and it is taking forever to go from one thing to another!

Thanks!

Tech tells me it ought to speed up as it may be a remnant of the shutdown over the weekend.

It is better today, but still does a lot of "waiting" for family corner to respond and then when it does a "run down" going from one page to another etc. I have done all the self computer "fixes" including a defrag and disk cleanup. Thanks!

I am very concerned about how many people have gotten really upset over the shut down and some that still apparently can't get on. Is it possible that someone can have access to an emergency phone number, email or some way to contact someone from IB for these type of problems especially over a weekend?

Also, since the address that the newsletter is now coming from is not the webmom any longer some people did not get the latest newsletter. Assuming because the new address was not in their address book and therefore either went to their SPAM or something else. Can a message be put at the top of Family Corner with an ALERT to add the new address to receive the newsletter? We really need to keep the loyal FC people up to date on changes so they stick around!
