Hey Sis!! The weather here is getting cooler & cooler. But, where I live~~it is TOTALLY unpredictable! We never know how to dress for the day....things change in a heartbeat! I usually pack a sweater in the car just in case! The temps here can literally change 20º in just a couple of hours. Just the other day, I went to class at 8:30am and it was soooo warm outside that I wore a skirt and short sleeves. By the time I left, which was only 2 1/2 hours later, it was tooooo cold for that skirt! Oh well!!

Hi Sis! I loved that cute little Angel! I hope she does take me to " Dreamland " after I watch my favorite Tv shows tonight. I like Grey's Anatomy & Private Practice. Do you watch them? I also need help going to sleep as I don't sleep very well.

I am having such a busy week yet it seems like it's dragging. My kids are all having school pictures this week & book fair so I've been putting out money continously. I just want it to stop already. Do you ever get that way?

To answer your question about Halloween,Hmmm.......that's a difficult question. I used to like it when I was younger & really should love it as my Mom went all out for it. To be honest with you though, I'm not real big on it! I don't mean to offend anyone but I actually think it's kind of stupid. I don't get/understand the whole meaning of it. I basically do it just for my kids & that's it! I don't decorate for it! I put a wreath on my door & some window clings on & that's it! Where I live no one would really see it anyway. We have to go in to town for Trick 0r Treating. That too I only do for my kids! If it was up to me, we wouldn't do it. I'd prefer to buy them some candy myself. I have a best friend who loves Halloween, it's her favorite Holiday & she goes nuts with the decorations & has a massive party! I myself don't consider it a Holiday. It's weird that I feel this way as when I was little my Mom handmade my sisters & I the best costumes & we ALWAYS won in the parades! She had us as " The Wizard of Oz" & " The Old Woman in the Shoe". My Mom was very creative! I just can't get into it. I am fortunate that my sister has my Mom's talent & she made my dd her costume last year.

I like Christmas!!! That's my Holiday!!! I love to decorate for it, I try to do every room in my house with at least a kick knack or something. I especially like Christmas Eve. It's so much fun watching the excitement of the kids as they can't go to sleep & then we wait patiently to put out the gifts. I like making milk & cookies for "SANTA". I like the Christmas morning breakfast together but best of all....it's the whole meaning of it & the togetherness it brings in families! I Love the whole atmosphere! The sights, sounds, smells, you name it!!! I even love the beautiful snow, to look at it but... not to drive in it!

So, what's your favorite Holiday? What do you like best about it?

I will watch for the snail mail!

Talk to you soon!

Hi Sis! I fell asleep on the couch, woke-up & couldn't go back to sleep so before I try to go back to bed I thought I'd check my email & what a nice surprise! I'm not sure yet what I' doing this weekend but I hope it can be relaxing. I'm hoping it's not too cold or rainy either. I would like to spend time with family. My dh needs to fix my Dad's shed but not sure if we will get to do that or not, depends on the weather. I'm just glad it's almost here!!! My week's been hectic & I hope to maybe get a little rest that is very much needed! What are your plans?

Hey Sis,
Not much going on here this weekend. Wanted to take the boys to the pumpkin patch but it doesn't look like its gonna happen. It is raining again. Not sure iof Ashley would allow them to go tramping thru the mud. I don't mind it and neither do the girls, but Ashley is still kind of new to this mothering thing so she might not apprecaite the mud.
I just loved the little fairy on the ecard.
I hope we can become friends also. There's nothin better than having lots of friends , even if it is just online.

Hi Sis

It's cold and rainy here and the type of day that you want to just curl up on the couch with a blanket, but your e-card brightened it up. Thanks.

My day turned out better when hubby returned home after being gone all week. I'm looking forward to my birthday next week as well. I hope your day was good too!

Thanks

Hi Sis! No, I don't have to rake leaves! There is a park down the street from me, and the leaves from those trees like to visit my back driveway~~but other than that, we don't have big trees all around us. I guess you could say we are very suburban! LOL

So, do you have lots of trees?

Hi sis, The Smoky Mountain card was beautiful. When I went to Beersheba last month I looked right into the Smokies. It was so beautiful there and the leaves had just started to change. But, was it ever cold at night on some of the nights.

Wow Sis, You sure are spoiling me good! I loved getting that chocolate,Yum-Yum!!! It looked so good & it made me so hungry for some real chocolate! I have to watch how much of that stuff I have now so it was Purr-fect!!! I loved the kitty too as I too love animals! I really liked the card you sent! The little surprise you has tucked inside smells so good! It goes good with the scent I have in my living room, so that's where I put it. You are too sweet!!! I'm getting the feeling you must know me? I can't wait to find out! My weekend has been good so far.How about yours? Today was flu shots for the kids in the am,cheerleading for my dd,laundry & then relaxtion! Tomorrow I will go spend time with my Dad while my dh fixes his shed & then watch the "STEELERS" play some football. I'm not into sports but I grew up watching the "STEELERS" with my Dad. Great memories!!! To answer you question, Yes I love animals! I have 4 cats & 1 dog. They are spoiled! So, what about your pets? What's the weather like where you are? Rainy here lately & getting colder. Talk to you soon! Hugs!
