My SS, I decided to check email because I couldn't sleep for some reason. I don't know why after my busy day, so it was refreshing to find the " bee " ecard.
I did my normal housework,etc. Then I went & got my hair done. I like it but it isn't exactly what I wanted. Then I went & did some early shopping for exchange gifts because I found a Great sale. In the end, I spent too much though.
I'm getting ready for a family /friends cookout get together on Sunday. I got lots of cooking to do tomorrow. I'm trying a new recipe for Taco Dip that my bf gave me.My mil is having it at her house, she lives right next door. We invited people too. Her & I are making the food & others will bring something. We set up volleyball, horseshoes,badmitten,etc. I'm excited as I look forward to spending some relaxing/fun time with my family! It's going to be fun! I will try to take pictures.
I also have to take my dd to cheerleading tomorrow while my dh goes to a tractor pull! So, I might not find time to get on here again until Monday.
What a mad week we have had, it was lovely to receive your cards and thank you so much, I loved them.
This weekend we need to get the garden sorted a little if the weather lets up a little as we have had o much rain recently and the winds are fairy strong too. I also need to get our anniversary meal sorted out so I can let my parents know what time we need them etc.
Then we are having a board games weekend. The kiddies love that.

SS, I checked my spam box and there is nothing there from you. If you sent an ecard prior to the kitten one, which my DGD LOVED, it didn't arrive. I've had things like that happen to me. I'd send something to a SS and she'd never say anything about it and when asked, she never got it. I don't know why, but some things get lost in cyberspace. LOL

The angel one about friend lifts us up, I find so many of them here at FC that
are angels.. Now I'm wondering if you are one that been around or a brand new
angel to me. I love that angel, and wished I could copy it..also enjoyed the other
frienship one too.

Barb, I will share my Taco Dip recipe when I get time next week to post it on here. It turned out Great! The only thing is that it's time consuming to make, due to chopping the veggies.
I especially want to tell my SS that the Bear Hug card couldn't have came at a better time! I really needed a hug! I just got it today & with the stress & not much sleep my dh has been cranky. We got into a little argument late last night & I was feeling so bad. It really made me feel better! It's so weird, like you knew I needed that!
Tara, the sisters seem to know when a hug is needed if if you don't realize how much you needed one.
Looking forward to coming to your place for the cookout, next door actually. I haven't been out there is ages. No car, no visits.

We are having a fun Labor DAy weekend.
Yesterday we went up to a coffeehouse in Tehachapi to listen to Celtic music.
Today we went to a friends house to watch the race.
