Shrimp Scampi
1 8 oz. package of angel hair pasta
1/2 C butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 1/2 pounds shrimp peeled (I use 2 small packages of the frozen salad shrimp)
1/3 - 1/2 C white wine
3/4 C dry bread crumbs
Parmesan cheese
Cook angel hair pasta according to package directions & drain well.
In a large sauce pan (I use a non-stick frying pan), melt butter & saute garlic. Add shrimp and cool until colored pink. Stir in white wine. The bread crumbs are used as thickening so stirl in a little at a time until desired thickness is reached.
Serve shrimp over angel hair pasta and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
