What a mail organizer? You can keep your stamps in the drawers? Set it on your desk or a counter.

We recycled today. Dh had some old bricks that needed a new home or use. We put them between the garden shed and the garage. Now it is solid, to store things there. No more weeds! One less item to find a home for before we move!

paint holder

Well I finally decided to use this little recycle for my paint holder. It holds the larger sized bottles and all of my other things I use for craft painting, including my brushes[ATTACH]Name: paint holder 001.jpg

Missibob, you could use it to organize computer cd's and office supplies (paper clips etc.), You could use it to organize greeting cards (birthday, get well, etc.) and store stamps and address labels. I think it is neat and has lots of uses.

I compost all of our "raw" foods (vegetable peels, fruit peels or cores, etc. and though my town does not have recycling I recycle cans through dh's work. As for making things out of other things, i save used candle jars and jelly jars for food storage or to give as gifts filled with dip or drink mixes. I use empty canning jars to store things like rice and grains. Mugs the handles have broken off become plant pots. I have a wooden seedling drawer that I have turned on its side and used as a bookcase. I use old table cloths that have a hole or stain for pillow covers. I just make sure when I cut them to fit the pillow, the stain is not in the part I am using. I have recoverd some pillows with beautiful old table cloths.

Sounds like you ladies really know how to reuse things and be frugal at the same time.

Blessings,
Dawn
