chuckle Left Over Halloween Candy

Chocolates, including nougat or nut can be used to make treats to freeze and save for later. WHIRL THE CANDY IN A BLENDER and roll scoops of the mixture in your palms to form balls. Shake candy balls in a resealable bag filled with hot-coco powder, chopped nuts, or coconut........

Lightbulb leftover halloween candy

HI- I am new to the site and left 2 other postings before stumbling onto your thread. It is exactly what I am looking for. Seems that I read somewhere (now I cant find it- figures)that you can take leftover Halloween candy, mix it, roll it and dip it in whatever you wish. Please give me some instruction on how to do. My kids always get WAY TOO MUCH candy and thought this is a great way to reinvent the 'truffle'. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you

shocking Recycle Candy

Hi Petunia-If you read the 1st post on this thread this is the way I recycle candy. Also I chop up soft or chocolate candy and add it to my cupcake batter or cookie mix. You can also use candy to decorate on the icing of cupcakes/cakes.

Cool

Happy 6- thanks for getting back so soon. You have some great ideas on leftover candy! Do you need to add anything to the candy before 'whirling' it in the blender?? And how soft should the candy be?? Any exciting combos you may have tried that were great?
Thanks for the help-you are very clever.

Hee hee Halloween Candy

Hi Petunia, Your own ideas are always the best way. When blending candy a drop of milk can never hurt if you need it. M&M'S are great in just about anything! All you have to do is hand mix them in any baking recipe. Kids love them in cupcakes. My favorite for snickers , is to add you own favorite nuts and add to your favorite baking recipe. I love to put chocolate kisses on the top of peanut butter cookies. My Grandkids love this. You can just mix and match anything! Roll them in coconut chocolate or anything you can think of!..... Just expeirment and you will find your own favorite ingredient to bake with. Hope you get lots of candy Trick or Treating!!!!! .

Great ideas! Now if I can just manage to stay out of the candy so that we'll have leftovers. I'm worse than my kids. I limit how much they eat but no one limits how much I eat!
