Have any Octoberfest recipes to share? This is an easy one; like the impossible pies that you make with Bisquick

Impossibly Easy Oktoberfest Pie

1/2 lb fully cooked bratwurst (about 3), cut into 3/4" pieces
1 1/3 cups drained sauerkraut (from 14-oz can)
1 cup shredded Swiss cheese (4 oz)
3/4 cup Original Bisquick mix
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup regular or nonalcoholic beer
2 eggs


Heat oven to 400. Spray 9" glass pie plate with cooking spray. Sprinkle bratwurst, sauerkraut and cheese in pie plate. In small bowl, stir remaining ingredients till blended. Pour into pie plate. Bake 30 to 35 minutes or till knife inserted in center comes out clean. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.

Any recipes for a really good apple dumpling?

This is a really easy and good one!

1 recipe for your favorite baking powder biscuits
cinnamon and nutmeg to taste
apples. peeled and cored
butter
white sugar

Roll your baking powder biscuit dough 1/4" thick and cut into 4" squares. Put apples in the center of each square. Add sugar,butter,cinnamon and nutmeg to core of each apple. Draw the four corners of the dough together. Press edge closed. Prick with a fork. Bake to a medium brown at 350 degrees for about 35 minutes. Serve hot with cream or a sauce of your choice.

I have a recipe for 7-UP Apple Dumplings on my blog. They were easy to make and really good.

Thanks! They were good. I'm not a big apple fan but my dh is so I try to make some different things for him during apple season. I did like these apple dumplings, though.
