February 2009 recipe tester club

Happy Valentine's Day Everyone.

The ground hog saw his shadow. 6 more weeks of winter. Feb. is a short month and will go by fast.

Our blue ribbon winner for the week of Feb. 1st is dovie for her Tex-Mex Combo.

Our tester was jfe.

This does sound good. I will have to try it.

I made 2 and each was different. I used pintos instead of black beans
as we're not fond of black beans. In 1, I did use the small can of chilis, in the other i didn't as i have a sil who can't stand the heat. Ha. I found it to be a very good and easy recipe, filling and pleasant. The only thing I added was sour cream to eat with the dish and some chopped chives. Yes i'll make it again as we all enjoyed it.

Even my sil said it was good and he is picky. LOL
