 Soprano Hot Dogs/Sausages
Spicy hot dogs or Italian Sausage are very good for this recipe.
Sauteed Spinach---1 pound of spinach---1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil---2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
Cook spinach covered over low heat until wilted. Drain the spinach and squeeze out remaining liquid using paper towels. Heat olive oil over medium heat in a medium frying pan for 30 seconds. Add spinach and toss it with olive oil and garlic.....this will make about one cup....
Hot dogs or sausage grilled
Hot Dog buns, toasted
Satuteed Spinach
2 tablespoons grated provolone
Preheat broiler. place hot dogs or sausages in buns, top with Sauteed Spinach and cheese. Place under the brolier until cheese is melted and serve immediately.
