Anyone here a real estate agent?

For a long time my husband and I have wanted to get into real estate. I am planning on getting my realtors license and just wondered if there were any realtors out there willing to offer any hints, tips, or advice for someone just starting out

I am a realtor. The main thing is to be patient in this kind of market. It takes a lot of time and work to make the money, but when you go to closing its all worth it. Email me privately with any questions and I can give you more info. My email is ofan1967@aol.com

I plan on starting my classes as soon as the kids get back in school after Christmas break. I already have the books and I just need to register online to get started. The Century 21 office in town here keeps telling me to hurry up LOL so I plan to work hard on it. I'm looking forward to getting started!

Amanda,
That's great that you already have the books. We didn't get anything until we went to class. I went through the college though so that may be why. Start reading now. We sometimes had 4 chapters to ready between classes. I wont lie to you and tell you that the classes are extremely hard, but everyone that sticks with it, will eventually make it. There were many nights of tears.
