IF Questions.........

I was looking at a book at Barnes and Noble called "IF Questions for the soul." Some of the questions were serious and some were lighthearted...........thought it might be fun to post some of them and see what your answers might be.
This one is lighthearted, Very lighthearted!

"If heaven had to look like the inside of one of your friends homes, whose home would you pick and why?!!

Wow Trainlady,
This is a hard one. To be honest,I would pick my own home, because it is heaven to me. I try to make it as warm and comfortable and have fun things going on around as well. My patio has a little water feature and there are pots and pots of flowers. I sit out there in the evening and listen to the water, smell the scents of the flowers and look up at the heavens and star gaze. I collect angels, and we all know there are angels in heaven.

I would choose either LindaLou's, Janet's or Sueannes homes for heaven!
I havn't been to any of their homes in person but I have seen enough pictures and heard enough descriptions to know their homes are like heaven on earth!!

hugs, train

Trainlady.... Thank You very much for the compliment.

Even the men that work in my development greet you every day with the saying " Good Morning another day in Paradise".

I Thank God every day for sending me the literature about this development just starting. They even said they would pick you up at the airport when you arrived. We were also given three days free at a model home to stay at. A couple was even designated to take us out for dinner at a fancy restaurant. We bought the lot during those three days. Went home sold our home right away which was surprising. House was built in three months. This developer, his father and grandfather owned most of the land in the area. They even donated land in town for a small airport. They are still building bigger and better communities for Adults in the area.

I enjoy seeing my Dh thrive and his health improve since we have moved here to Florida. There are all men his own age to talk with and reminice about the old days. I too have made many friends.
We all own the developments Club Houses and Pools, but the homes belong to only the owners. Guess growing older has not been to bad for me.

mmm, I would have to go with my best Frined Ann..
very clean, she changes things and make a big thing out of holidays, and seasonal...she has thing decorated up for spring, summer, fall, winter, then holidays.... it so festive around her house....
and I think of heaven that way... a celebration each time a person goes home to be with the LORD, and the bible talks about the big feast that is prepared for us.

it a peacefull place to be around....

now I would have to agree with you about LInda Lou, as I seen picutres of her place, and then the garden that Sueanna has showed... the garden in heaven would look like that.

sister jeanette knowing you I can image your place could look just as lovely.... and wish I could see more.... you are a sweetie.

Trainlady we two our jobs are to write about thier places.. LOL

good questions... looking for more as time goes by.
thanks for asking.

Barb, Just like your friend Ann,I too change things around every 3 months and decorate seasonally. My family thinks it's funny that I do this, but it is a hobby of mine and I love to decorate. It brings a smile to my friends faces when they see the next new thing I have done..lol.

BTW Barb...hope you had a great day . Hope you did something special for your birthday!

The first place that came to mind was my Mom and Dad's house. Not sure why, maybe just the comfort of thinking that that is where I grew up, and that is truly home to me!

She always keeps it nice and clean, yet very children friendly. It is not gallery perfect, yet has pictures, and knick-knacks to look at. It has just the right amount of comfort.

NEW QUESTION.......

If you were to better yourself in one way, what would you change?
Spiritually, physically, mentally, it doesn't matter which.

I wish I had more energy. That is one thing I would like to change about myself. I need a lot of sleep and I tire so easily.
I wish I was able to get by on 7 hours of sleep. I need atleast 9 hours of sleep at night and then I still tire......

How about You?

hugs,train

would have to go with physically and mentally

as it sort of ties in together because I wish
I could like myself better,
to forgive my self from things of the past,
to change the low self esteem I go thru at times,
to be more outgoing,

and of course would like for my walk with the LORD to continue to get stronger and stronger ....
to be able to help more people,

another good question.

Good question !

Spiritually...to be more open minded on issues that divide us as christians. I am really struggling with some issues that are now in my Anglican faith.

Physically...I too need 9 - 10 hrs. of sleep. I hate it..I feel like I miss the best part of the day...early morning, just as the sun is coming up and the birds are calling and the earth smells so sweet. I used to be able to enjoy those gifts from God,but I can't any more.

Mentally..I wish I could be self assured. It seems to come so easy for many people. I would love to be able to express my faith, but I have not been able to. I know what I believe..but I can't explain the how's of what I believe.
